Owner Shauna Hinchen-Joyal studied pastry arts at Johnson and Wales University and has worked in the baking industry for over 20 years, making specialty event and wedding cakes as well as her signature pastries. I began playing for weddings in 2013 and have continued to do so ever since. I started Overtone in 2024 because I felt a desire to bridge the gap between couples and musicians. We also provide many rentals from ceremony arbors, candles, candelabras, lanterns, vases and fabric for draping.

My first job in high school was at a local market florist, and the rest is history!
