Hi! I am Meg, a mom of two beautiful boys, married to my high school sweetheart, and have a deep passion for capturing couples in love. I have a masters degree in early childhood. I taught preschool for 7 years before having children. 2024 will be my seventh year in the biz. My true passion, is capturing weddings. Documenting couple’s special day, and making beautiful art. My favorite part of being a photographer is that I am able to give couples something tangible to have forever. You will have these photos to look back on forever and remember your big day. This is why I love lifestyle photography. It's full of emotion.

What sets me apart from other photographers is that I will work as hard as I can, to capture your day, so that you can remember it exactly how it was. I deliver sneak peeks the day after your wedding, and clients will receive their FULL gallery within two weeks.

Meghan is amazing. The best wedding photographer in the business!! Meghan worked so hard to get to know us as a couple and personalize our experience. She knew how to capture our love story during our engagement shoot and the results were so beautiful. She is so knowledgeable of the industry and was able to help make sure we had everything we needed before the wedding to get the content and shots we wanted. Because Meghan was so thorough and her attention to detail, I was able to be in the moment and enjoy our wedding day trusting her to capture the moments we could cherish forever. It would be a mistake to ask her to be your photographer and be a part of the magic she will create for you on your wedding day.
She deserves every bit of a 15/10 rating.

Meghan, Meghan, Meghan. What an absolute gem to work with. She was worth every penny and that’s coming from me, the penny-pincher of the wedding planning process. At first, I struggled to understand how wedding photography could justify the cost. But after working with Meghan, I completely see the value. She didn’t just deliver timeless, beautiful photos, she brought such a light, fun, and professional presence to every part of our wedding. We were referred to Meghan by my best man and his wife. Her photography style matched exactly what my wife was looking for, and the mutual connection made the decision easier for me. That said, even without the referral, Meghan’s work speaks for itself. Every post on her Instagram was stunning, and after seeing the full album from my best man’s wedding, it was clear there was no competition. Now, I’m not particularly artsy, so I might not have all the right words to describe how excellent her work is. What I can say with full confidence is that you’ll have an amazing experience working with Meghan. She also shot our engagement photos, something I had honestly been dreading. I imagined stiff, awkward “candid” poses and standing around in public feeling ridiculous. But the moment we met Meghan, she put us completely at ease. She took charge in the most natural, approachable way, smiling, confident, and clearly experienced with people like me who aren’t/can’t take it seriously. She maximized our time, gave simple directions that even I could follow, and somehow captured these incredible shots that now hang all over our home. Most importantly, she made the entire experience fun. It felt like hanging out with a longtime friend who just happened to be a professional photographer, not like we were being posed by a stranger. On the wedding day, Meghan brought a fantastic second shooter which allowed them to be present while the ladies were getting ready in one location and the guys hung around drinking beers in another. They were never in the way, never forced anything, and helped make the whole day flow effortlessly. The final album speaks for itself. Bonus moment: During our first look, I was fighting back tears. Meghan lightened the mood with some gentle humor, took some truly amazing shots, and helped turn a super emotional moment into something unforgettable both in person and on film. Honestly, we’re a little sad that the wedding is over because that means we don’t get to work with her anymore. I truly can’t speak highly enough about Meghan. She’s flexible, professional, personable, consultative, and most of all fun. She deserves every bit of a 15/10 rating.

Best of the best right here! I had the pleasure of meeting Meghan when she was the photographer for my cousin’s wedding in May 2023. I knew following that experience she would, without a doubt, be the photographer for my wedding (as long as I booked her before someone else snatched her up!). Besides being in awe seeing how perfect all of the pictures came out, what stood out to me in particular was her ability to keep the day moving so seamlessly, capturing all of the details/emotions/moments while keeping everyone and everything organized. Also while making it fun! This was consistent with my wedding day as well, showing how much of a professional she is…she is so great at what she does. Her skills make the difference, she has a way of making you feel comfortable and stress free…. we had SO much fun working with her at both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. So many laughs and so many great memories captured

Meghan Kannan Photography was an exceptional choice for our wedding photographer. On the day of our wedding, Meg's meticulous attention to detail and creative eye captured all the special moments beautifully. She made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and the final photos were truly exceptional - the editing style was perfect, and the photo prompts she provided helped us get natural, beautiful shots.
