Within my style, this means your wedding photos will be amazing BUT you will also have beautiful candid and natural moments captured that you may not have noticed during your day, and you will only get a view of what I see, which is pure joy and happiness of you both being celebrated on your Big Day! Incredible photographer!!
We truly could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. Matao and his wife/second shooter, Danielle understood our vision and captured it in a way that exceeded anything we could have imagined. From our engagement shoot, to the big day, we have photos that are timeless and authentic. Beyond his INCREDIBLE talent, he was the absolute best to work with. He made us feel so comfortable, relaxed, and made me feel so so SO confident as a bride!! Our family still talks about how incredible Mateo & Danielle were; so friendly, professional, and just a great, positive presence! If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, look no further!! 12/10 would recommend!!

Captured Our Day Perfectly
From our first conversation with Matao, we knew we'd found our photographer. His communication was clear and warm, making us feel at ease throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, he went above and beyond—he even helped us get an important document we'd left in our car, turning a stressful moment into something we barely noticed. Beyond that, Matao made us feel so comfortable during our small city hall elopement. The photos came out exactly as we'd dreamed, capturing the power, romance, and elegance we wanted while still feeling natural and candid. The colors are stunning and everyone who's seen them has been obsessed. His work made our intimate ceremony feel all the more grand and special, and we couldn't be happier! We’re truly so grateful.

Exceptional photographer!
I am so glad I had Matao photograph my wedding! What initially drew me in was his insane artistic style and how well he does candid shots. He was very communicative from start to finish during my planning process and he delivered on my requested shots and overall vision on capturing my day. My husband and I aren’t the greatest at posing, but Matao was fantastic at directing us and making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. He, his wife/second photographer, and assistant were all so kind to my family and I still get compliments to this day of how well he and his team interacted with everyone, while producing amazing photos. At this point, I need to plan another event just so I can hire him again!

Best photographer ever!
Matao Aric Photography was a dream to work with for our wedding. From the start, Matao and Danielle were kind, quick to respond, and deeply respectful of our vision. Their classic, beautiful documentary style produced timeless photos that truly captured the magic of our special day. They handled all the photo coordination seamlessly and went above and beyond to help with logistics, ensuring everyone was in the right place at the right time. He Captures the Magic
It was an incredible day made all the better with Matao. I feel like it might be hard to find a photographer that *really* picks up on what you're going for and we nailed it with him. He is up for an adventure and the occasional challenge (including cellphone photographer family members, lol)! Matao's wife and assistant Danielle and second photographer Brooke were so lovely and took note of so many maybe otherwise forgotten details, things I wouldn't have even thought of as great pictures. We wanted someone with a deep connection to the city we live in and love, with a great sense of humor, and could roll with the punches and occasional quick change of plans that happen with a wedding, and we truly could not recommend him highly enough. We will treasure our photos forever.
