It’s honestly hard to put into words how much this venue, and the amazing team behind it, meant to us. My husband and I got married here just a couple of weeks ago, and it was the most perfect day we could have ever imagined. So much of that is thanks to this place and the people who made it all happen. From the very beginning, Jillissa was absolutely incredible. She was the kindest, most organized and responsive person - always quick to answer our (many) questions, and she sent us everything we could’ve possibly needed, from videos and photos to charts and layouts. She really took the time to get to know us and what we were envisioning, offering suggestions or possibilities/options along the way when we were left unsure. By the time our wedding day came around, it genuinely felt like we were working with a friend - someone who truly cared and had our backs every step of the way. When wedding planning became chaotic and stressful, Jillissa provided encouragement, support, an uplifting spirit at exactly the right times. Even in those inevitable last-minute moments where things came up, she jumped in without hesitation. She went above and beyond in ways we’ll genuinely never forget. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The town of Marshall is sooo full of charm. It's walkable, historic, and full of kind, welcoming people. It felt like the perfect place to bring everyone we love together. And Schuler’s catering was unreal!! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food. The entire service staff was absolutely amazing - so warm, so professional, and completely on top of everything. Because of them, the whole day flowed effortlessly, and we got to just relax and be in the moment without a single worry or hiccup. I wish I could thank them more. What really blew us away, though, were the little touches. We had a private tasting with custom menus and a welcome sign at Schuler's, a sweet card waiting at our hotel (The Royal Hotel - perfectly located AT the venue), and even a handwritten note and gift from the venue (a gift that truly meant more to us than I can express online). Those are the kinds of things that don’t show up on a contract but come from people who truly care, and it showed in every single detail. Choosing this venue was easily one of the best decisions we made. We’ll always remember how beautiful it was (our first pull to the venue itself), but more than that, we’ll remember how it made us feel. So loved, so supported, and so genuinely celebrated. I’ll forever be grateful we got to start our marriage here. This venue will forever hold a special place in my heart and I hope the same for others.

My mom and future mother in-law hosted my bridal shower here a few weeks back. I cannot express how incredible the whole team was. Lexi was wonderful to work with leading up to the event and helping with the room layout. The entire staff was attentive and so kind. We did a brunch with an open bar, the bar tenders were quick and the food was all fantastic. Such a perfect space for a private event!

Got married here 5/11/24, the staff was very attentive, food was amazing, and the mansion was so beautiful. The 2 hours before the ceremony were chaotic since rain was on and off and we were unsure if an outdoor ceremony would happen or not. 10 minutes before the ceremony started staff ran out wiped all the chairs, and were able to make it happen! Received tons of compliments on the beauty of the venue, and how delicious the food was. 4/5 stars just because at the end of the night we were pushed out faster than our allowed 30minutes, the manager was literally locking doors as people were walking out of them, and we got a couple complaints about the bar staff. Besides that it was all amazing

In fact, my wife and I even got married there! They seriously do the best! They are super attentive and professional, and set the bar super high! They pay great attention to detail! Their food is seriously out of this world! You will not find a better meal anywhere! Addison oaks is such a beautiful place. The mansion is exquisite and the grounds are stunning! We had our wedding here and it was such a beautiful experience! The venue is absolutely stunning, especially the garden area, and we loved knowing there was a great backup plan in case of rain. Thankfully, the weather cooperated, but it gave us so much peace of mind. Communication leading up to the wedding was fantastic, and the staff accommodated everything to the best of their ability. The food was incredible—our guests couldn’t stop talking about it—and the bar service was top-notch. Our rehearsal dinner was also amazing. We chose the pizza option, and it was such a hit! There were plenty of choices, and my sister loved how there was something for each one of her kids. Most importantly, Ginny, the banquet manager, was amazing to work with. She was warm, helpful, and truly made the day run as smoothly as possible. Overall, we had such a wonderful day here and made the best memories. If you’re looking for a beautiful space with great food, a solid rain plan, and amazing staff, this is definitely a venue worth considering!

I had my wedding here in the grand ballroom, and everything was amazing. Kristine was extremely organized and made everything run so smoothly, and then on the night of my wedding my husband and I were speechless. When they pulled the doors open for us, it took our breath away. We had SO many people compliment us and say it was the most unique wedding they have been to. Cherry Creek was the perfect space for our Beauty and the Beast themed wedding! The elegant décor and gilded accents certainly evoke the ambience of the ballroom scene from the film without coming across as overdone. One of our favorite features of this venue is the conservatory, which provides a stunning panoramic view of the grounds; the view is made even more magical during an autumnal sunset when the golds and oranges of the changing leaves really pop. In addition to the beauty of the venue, I must highlight the wonderful staff at Cherry Creek. Our guests had numerous compliments for the staff on the day of our wedding, and my husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cherry Creek's staff and all of the hard work they put in behind the scenes to ensure our day was special. In particular, we want to give a shoutout to Shadia and Stefani, Cherry Creek's catering sales manager and event specialist (and our day-of coordinator), respectively. Both Shadia and Stefani are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate--they were excellent communicators throughout the entire wedding planning process and they made sure that we reviewed every detail before the big day. Stefani even came to the rescue on our wedding day when some wardrobe malfunctions occurred right before the ceremony! I could go on and on about how wonderful these two women are, but for the sake of brevity I will simply say that if you are considering Cherry Creek as your wedding venue and you have the opportunity to work with Shadia and Stefani, take that opportunity! They are wonderful and will ensure your wedding day is everything you hoped for and more. Finally, I would be remiss if I did not mention how fabulous the food is at Cherry Creek. My husband and I received rave reviews from numerous guests about the hors d'oeuvres, dinner service, dessert bar, and cocktails from our wedding, and we wholeheartedly agree with those reviews (the beef tenderloin cut like butter and the Boursin whipped potatoes were the best we've ever had). We especially loved that we had the ability to tailor our signature cocktails to fit the wedding theme. We also received many compliments about the ice cream sandwich bar (unfortunately, we were too stuffed to enjoy the ice cream ourselves!). In short, Cherry Creek was the perfect venue for our wedding day; if you are looking for all the beauty and romance of a fairy tale for your special day, then I highly recommend you choose Cherry Creek Golf Club!

The staff at Waldenwoods Resort & Conference Center responded to every question, comment, and request very promptly, at least within 48 hours. I preferred email over phone calls so I could keep track of our conversations, and they fully delivered for our wedding day. They not only answered questions and requests, but I also had full confidence they would execute everything flawlessly. The Sunshine Cove was drop-dead gorgeous and an absolute steal of a price. It could not have been more magical for my husband and I. It was everything in my Pinterest board and more! You could not have gotten a more perfect outdoor, lake wedding style for the price they offer. We added drapery that enhanced the magical experience but it could also do without it. The lake was stunning and I can't even believe how beautiful the sunset looked across the lake. The nearby photo backdrops were also stunning! whichever direction you faced, the backdrop was amazing. We were in one location but the photos felt like we were in 10 different locations which brought different experiences in the photos. The staff at Waldenwoods was truly helpful on the day of our wedding. They made us our own plates and got us drinks so we didn't have to go through the buffet. Before the ceremony, they hid me away as the bride so no one would see me before the walk down the aisle. They got me a chair and kept me hydrated in the reception area. They were so thoughtful and really cared about my experience as a bride! I highly recommend Waldenwoods Resort for a stress-free wedding day. Our planner recommended The Community House after I mentioned liking another place because it was, well, community centered! The Community House is a nonprofit that serves as a venue but also has programs for the community, such as the Early Childhood Center. Besides that, another appeal to us was how good the food sounded, and I am telling you, we were right. Everyone raved about the food! We had beef short rib, vegetarian pappardelle, and chicken confit. The latter was extra, but it was worth it and honestly one of the top selling points on the menu for us. I am so happy about this, because a lot of wedding food is…meh. The other pro for us was the layout. We really wanted a setup that encouraged people to dance, and this was perfect with the dance floor, stage, and tables surrounding it. This proved to be true, and if it didn't throughout the night, it was because people were tired or not into the songs! The only constructive feedback I have for TCH is on communication. It's OK if you don't respond ASAP, but when we are planning a wedding, and paying …a week is a little long. The communication did improve once we started talking to another employee, however, so maybe it just varies person to person. One request for TCH: if possible it would be great to have an electronic payment portal that does not charge fees. It was a little scary to send large sums of money using a check via USPS.

Just had our wedding here almost 2 weeks ago and it could not have been better! We worked with Ashley Willis and she was incredible at making sure everything during the planning process went smoothly and was too our liking. She made suggestions when we wanted a different setup or different ideas for appetizers or desserts that were more unique and satisfied dietary restrictions! She even made suggestions for changes to make for the filet when I wasn't 100% in love with the flavor after our first tasting. She made sure to check in with us leading up to the day and ensured that everything went according to plan and that we could enjoy the weekend. Upon arrival at the Townsend, all members of the staff were gracious and helpful to myself, family, and friends. It was a great place for the bridal party to get ready and a beautiful venue for the ceremony and reception. We had the ceremony in the foyer - which was stunning and used the tea lobby and foyer for cocktail hour then moved into the ballroom for the party. The ballroom has recently been painted to a fresh white color and there is new neutral carpet so the ballroom feels updated and fresh. I could not have picked a better venue. We brought in linens, chairs, and other decor but also used several of the included pieces from the hotel for our event. Everyone loved the food and thought the hotel was beautiful! We had brunch in the Regency Room, which was perfect as well. From planning to the day of service, I was very happy with The Townsend and would definitely recommend this venue and give high praise to Ashley and her team!

Mandi and Andy (the owners) are utterly amazing to work with… Open-minded, kind and professional, they truly supported us every step of the way, even more than I personally could have imagined. I cannot say enough good things… My husband, Brennan, and I were married at Lake Lucy on October 1st, 2022. Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful experience on every level, and our 225 guests were more than pleased with all aspects of the ceremony and reception, including the location, food, outdoor setups, etc. It was a beautiful celebration and the guests enjoyed everything about it, even more than expected. Due to unforseeable circumstances, Brennan and I were forced to pivot and make a lot of stressful, last-minute changes within the two weeks just prior to our wedding date. It was frustrating and overwhelming, to say the least. Mandi and Andy took us under their wing, troubleshooting our sudden issues, providing solutions to all of our setbacks and stress, while aleviating our nerves and personal worries. They helped to pick up the pieces and bring our vision to life in ways we could have never anticipated or wished for. We are forever grateful! Our wedding ceremony was held outdoors, next to the lake. We designed our own alter and held the ceremony in a gorgeous spot. Our reception immediately followed, with large seated tent and dance floor, an outdoor bar setup, yard games, live music, food prepared onsite (giant meat smoker), and more. As dusk hit and the evening set-in, there was a giant bonfire by the lake for guest to enjoy, with musicians roaming playing music, before switching over to a DJ to amp-up the party vibe. The property is massive, secure and secluded. A diret road leads you to a private gravel entrace. Our parking was set near our staging area, with special accomidations for handicapped guests. Mandi and Andy own a stunning, large “log-castle” home at the far end of the lake, but the property is open outside of that! The house is mostly removed from view and from access during a wedding, but they opened their basement to the bridal party for pre-wedding needs, giving my gal pals and I a badass place to get ready and relax prior to the event. The basement has a private walkout entrace, full kitchen/BAR, stone fireplace, bedrooms, huge full bathroom with private dressing room kitchen/BAR, movie thetre for watching sports/films, game room with pool table, etc. My bridesmaids and I felt comfortably pampered in this space as we dressed for the event, we sipped chanpaign and shared laughs as a stylist did our hair and makeup onsite. Photographers joined us there to document it too (Mandi included). They turned out to be some of my favorite photos! Once the bridal party was ready, we boarded the back of Andy’s decorated tractor, and he drove us around the lake, down to the wedding site. We arrived in-style, making a grand entrace to the party as guests were mingling before the ceremony. It was perfect, entertaining and super fun! Lake Lucy is natural oasis of nature tucked away in the woods, approx only 10 minutes from the highway, making it accessible to all travelers and guests. Mandi and Andy are outstading, accomidating hosts. Highly recommended! Thank you, Lake Lucy.

A great blank canvas venue! The staff is very accommodating and allow you to bring in vendors of your choosing. They were very helpful and always available for a phone call/meeting to go over logistics. It’s also a huge space that was great for my 200 person ceremony and reception. Definitely would recommend at least getting a day of coordinator because the venue does not come with anything other than tables and chairs, so setup is a big task. I absolutely loved how our wedding turned out and we got so many compliments about how unique the venue was from our guests!

We had such a great experience with Plymouth Manor for our wedding reception. They were able to accommodate our intimate reception of 60 guest. Aya and Sam were so amazing and helpful, they nailed it! The food and staff was great. They were even able to help us find a DJ who was amazing, before they helped us I was so worried about a DJ, so to have them be able to help, was truly amazing. We even at the end decided to upgrade the lighting, which was a great choice. Everything looked great and went so smoothly and we and our guest had a blast. My best friend had her reception there over 10 years and she recommend them and I would also highly recommend Plymouth Manor. If there is another life event in our life that we would need to host, I would definitely go back to Plymouth Manor.
