The Corry House is named after the Corry family that settled the land in the late 1700's. That same family built the house in 1869, and continues to own the land to this day, ten generations later. After meeting and marrying in Greenville in 1989, Drs. Bo and Ruby Cheves moved to Bo's family farm in Union Point, Georgia. Here, they began the work of remodeling the 150-year-old farmhouse and surrounding grounds. As their two kids grew older, Bo and Ruby decided to build a new house overlooking the Ogeechee River further back on the property in 2007. With the help of Erin and Stanton Porter, The Corry House held its first wedding in 2010. At that time, we didn't have our reception barn or the meadow and forest wedding sites. Folks got married in the garden or in front of the farmhouse. After a few years of weddings, Bo and Ruby decided to run with it and built our temperature-controlled barn in 2014.

The Factory at Walton Mill is an all inclusive charming industrial-chic venue, located in historic cotton warehouses. Guests enter the Willow Room which is perfect for cocktail hours, small events or just as a welcoming lobby for the main event. The main event room, the Hawthorn Room, features warm wood walls and massive beams next to exposed brick with wonderful wood floors. The Court Street Livery is a restored barn in downtown Washington, Georgia. It is perfect for weddings, rehearsal dinners and just about any event you can imagine. The big red barn has great details from the past including a soaring heart pine ceiling, brick walls, awesome lighting, a outdoor patio, and a huge open space with four wooden posts. You’ll have access to the barn for the whole day. You can take your time setting up because we rent the Livery for only one event each weekend and you may come in the day before for decorating and set-up at no extra cost. We're largely a “DIY” facility which can make our venue very budget friendly. You'll provide the ideas, decorations and set-up. The Livery is beautiful even with very few decorations. You will choose your own caterer/planner. The Livery has a full catering kitchen. We have a few tables but you'll need to rent additional equipment (chairs, tableware, sound system, etc.). There is ample free parking.

Home of the Athens YMCA from 1889 until 1919, the original building on this site became a music store, movie house, hotel, Masonic Temple, furniture company and Sears Roebuck store before being replaced by the Elite Theatre in 1935. Except for a brief period as a Methodist church, this theatre – later renamed the Georgia Theatre – has served as a significant performance venue for emerging and established musicians from Athens and beyond. Devastated by a fire on June 19th, 2009, this historic concert hall has been rebuilt as a labor of love with reverence for the creative spirit that Athens has long embraced. With special thanks to the people of Athens and all who worked so diligently to restore her and make her better, the Georgia Theatre stands proudly reborn.

Creature Comforts is located in a beautiful 13,000 square foot historic warehouse building in downtown Athens, GA. The building was originally constructed in the 1940's as a Chevrolet dealership and later became the Snow Tire Company. The building is now a production brewery and taproom with 5,500 square feet of picturesque, one-of-a-kind space. Our brewery offers a portfolio of artisanal craft beers that were designed to offer something for everyone. Our event space, located under our main facility, provides a private space and upscale atmosphere for your guests to connect and celebrate.
