Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be part of weddings! I enjoy making people happy and removing stress from their lives. I have been married for 2 years to the most amazing man, Vincent Solewin. I do work right from the comfort of my home. Making time to spend with family and friends!

I served twenty years in the Coast Guard as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer and performed a year of National service with Americorps. Upon retirement, I returned to school using my GI bill to study my lifelong hobby and passion: Art and photography. I attended the Art Institute of Seattle for over two years until their closure. I am presently painting for Gallery, along with shooting wedding corporate events.

Through years of navigating life’s challenges, I drifted away from my creative roots. In 2020, I picked up a camera and photography brought me back to that creative space, allowing me to capture something both beautiful and meaningful and I fell in love. When I’m being creative, I feel like my best self.

Thistle is a women-owned shop on 22nd Street in Tucson, Arizona, offering a seasonal and unique selection of fresh flowers for weddings & events. Thistle began as a collaboration between floral designer Victoria Martino and administrative whiz Carly Wilson, who began their collaboration in 2016.

The Farm by Miller Made Events opened in October 2021. Although our experience with event planning started nearly 14 years ago as a decor rental company featuring props from a more modern to rustic style that included planning services and day of coordinating services primarily. At Miller Made Events we specialized in Weddings, Showers, Events, Parties and Photo Shoots in the southern Arizona area. The Farm is a very special place with so much history featuring the main structure which is an old airplane hanger that was built by the original owners in 1957 and has since been converted to make a childhood dream a reality for me and my family. I am so honored to open and share this space with the community and to watch it become an incredible memory for you and your families to celebrate within.
