At Historic Shady Lane, we believe every couple deserves the chance to have their dream wedding in a beautiful setting. The 34-acre property contributes to the rich history of this 1770 private estate. With gorgeous views and gardens, a magical glass and stone greenhouse, and a white frame tent complete with draping and chandeliers, Historic Shady Lane is a wedding venue made for creating memories that are true to you. Situated on the cornerstone of Royal Square in the heart of Historic Downtown York, Pa., The Bond hosts Central Pa.’s first industrial event space. This unique, post-industrial venue is recognized as the newest hub for weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events. Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the MCcarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.
