I have been a photographer my whole life. Maybe not great that entire time, but I've learned so much along the way. I've studied the art of photography at Grand Valley State University, worked in a studio for 3 years, and have run my own photography business for the last 12 years. I'm currently turning my eye on wedding photography, specifically, as I've been adding more weddings each year, and I've enjoyed it immensely.

We planned it so carefully and thought of every detail so we could give our guests the ultimate experience (being wedding pros and all) and ended up with a monsoon that caused our tent to start collapsing! In the end, nothing went as planned except that we did what we set out to do- marry each other! While we can’t control the weather on your day, we can make it an amazing, fun-filled experience and be able to tell your story in the most authentic way possible, creating a work of art with your memories at the center of it.

I was that bride that no one wants to be. I was young and had no clue when it came to planning a wedding. I chose a wedding photographer that someone suggested and not necessarily that I loved. Then it happened. My wedding photos came back and were awful. Fifteen years later, they are still awful. From that day on I thought, never again. My role as a photographer continues to push me as a creative, learning how to chase light effectively and giving you images that you'll adore. YOU are my inspiration! We are a new Event Venue located in Alaska, Michigan in Caledonia Township. Our venue received a complete renovation in June 2021. Our venue was originally a church built around 1880. We’ve kept the stained glass windows from the 1900’s and have updated them throughout the venue. We are a historical venue with a modern touch. We think you’ll love it.
