Awarded Best of Zola
Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe the experience we had with our wedding at the Inns of Aurora. We cannot thank Kim, Breanna, Alistair, Taylor, Julia, and the entire team enough for making everything seamless from start to finish. They handled every detail, answered every question, and made the entire process effortless. What stood out most, though, was how genuinely warm and welcoming everyone was. The venue itself is breathtaking. We planned everything at the Rowland House, and it was the perfect size for our party of 30. The house, property, and rooms were beautiful—living up to the photos and then some. And the food was absolutely delicious; everything that came out of the kitchen felt both home-cooked and elevated. If you’re looking for a place that’s not only beautiful but also filled with people who make your day feel truly special, this is it.

The Cracker Factory is a renovated industrial factory in Geneva, New York. This 65,000 square foot factory houses The Cracker Factory, 3Stories non-for-profit, and Miles and May Furniture Works. The Cracker Factory building, built in the early 1900s, was first home to Geneva Forge, a cutlery manufacturer. In 2007, Miles and May Furniture Works moved their production to the first story and began renovations on the previously unoccupied building. Since 2010, the second-floor gallery space has been in use for art shows, concerts, and events.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Provides event staff
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Not for you if you are drawn to more unconventional venues
My partner and I live in New York City and weren't planning on having our wedding in the finger lakes. But we were taking a vacation up there shortly after having been engaged and decided to visit the Cracker Factory for "fun" to "practice seeing venues". And then we fell in love with the space. Suddenly, we were planning a finger lakes wedding. And boy am I glad we did. The space is just perfect for an event like this. It's big, but doesn't feel it. There's room for dancing, and for having a conversation with an old friend you can actually hear. The back bar is amazing, and the outdoor deck is just the right size. And the team was incredible as well. Amy and then Ashley were responsive, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. We wanted to do things a little different from the prototypical wedding, and Ashley helped us with it all. Genuinely, there were zero hitches the whole day (not counting my wife and I getting hitched). And the price for what you get? Incredibly reasonable! (as far as weddings go). Truly, we felt like we got a steal. TL;DR If we got married ten times, we'd do all ten at the Cracker Factory. It was everything we wanted and more.
