I started off in birth photography and maternity shoots. I got asked to be a backup photographer for 2 weddings and fell so far in love with wedding and engagement photography, I had to add packages. I had so much fun and ended up making some great friendships doing so.

Marquita Chambers was born in the Washington, DC metro area and found her love of makeup after graduating high school. I enjoy capturing moments in time: the first kiss, the smile of a small child, and the look of pride on a father's face. In those candid moments, people don't realize I'm there shooting, until they see the final images and it brings back the memories they thought were lost. I want to capture those little moments so that they can be enjoyed for generations to come.

I was born and raised in a quiet seaside town on the South Shore of Long Island. I grew up in a place where good, strong love grows with parents who have been together since they were 16 years old. They taught me that true love grows in the face of hardship and, as strong believers in their faith, that love is, indeed, patient and kind. And so as soon as I realized that wedding photography didn’t have to be posed and mechanical; that I could shoot weddings from a more organic and authentic lens; that I could document a story, not direct one, I was hooked!
