My fiancé, Rica, and I didn’t originally plan on having our wedding and reception at Bay Pointe. We hadn’t looked at any place that far away, 1 hour from home. Two weeks before the wedding our original venue had a fire and we had to scramble to find a new location. Mariesa Colavincenzo, the Catering Sales Manager at Bay Pointe, came to our rescue. With her and her staffs’ help we were able to pull off a miracle and have a beautiful wedding using part of the restaurant and the deck, looking out on the lake… a perfect backdrop for our vows and the reception. Everyone remarked about how beautiful the setting was and also how wonderful the food was. We had 2 appetizers and a 3-entry buffet that was absolutely delicious! Rica and I thank Mariesa and everyone at Bay Pointe for making our wedding a wonderful reality when it seemed it might not happen at all. -Dr. Mark Crapo

The showroom is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space and parking for all our guests, and the whole package offered great value for what we got. Having a day-of coordinator on site made everything run smoothly and took so much stress off our shoulders. The unique vintage car setting gave our wedding a special vibe that our guests are still talking about. For starters, everything my husband and I imagined for our wedding came true because of Kruse Plaza. Both Annaliese and Lexi were phenomenal. My husband and I let them know what we wanted and they made all that come true. They were patient and were amazing to have throughout this experience. The day of the wedding Patrick and Lexi made sure we were good and treated us like royalty. Lexi went over everything with us to make sure we were ok with the flow. Anytime we had a question or needed some assistance, she was right there for us. She was the best! We couldn't have experienced anything better than this. When I first looked at the website, I fell in love. When we walked around with Patrick and did the tour, I fell in love even more. I knew this was the place I wanted to get married and if we were to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing. If I was able to, Kruse Plaza would have more than 5 stars.

Hamilton Lake's Cold Springs evolved from a 1870 farm purchase by Simpson Watkins. By 1885, Watkins Grove hosted picnics, leading to a hotel (1898), dance hall, and early 1900s recreation. An 18-hole golf course was built. Dancing remained popular with big bands, later transitioning to rock.
