Petals Flower Farm
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Freeport, ME

Petals Flower Farm is a small flower farm that grows, harvests, and curates flowers for you. Our passion for growing flowers is why we love showing off these blooms on your special day. Every element, from the soil, the sun, and the tender loving care, is where your flowers begin. Our team has been digging in the dirt and playing with flowers since they were girls. Our designers know the seasons and the flowers and can complement each piece uniquely. Our 'fresh from the garden' floral designs will complement your day perfectly.

“Petals did the flowers for our wedding party and we couldn't be more pleased with how beautiful they were. Lyndsay was easy to communicate with, so friendly, and of course, put together the perfect bouquets based on the color palette I gave her. Prices were incredibly fair - highly recommend!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (111 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Freeport, ME

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

“We had a tropical themed wedding and used Flower Moxie for tropical flowers and greenery: bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, ceremony arch flowers. I wish there were more tropical related videos on their DIY Academy, but I did love working with my assigned florist and the help desk was quick in their response. For those who are getting married at the same location that the flowers are being delivered (my parents' home), I wish we would have done all of the floral arrangements the day before instead of 2 days before. And our spray roses came a day later and were a little sad looking. But overall, we were very happy with the service and highly recommend to others!”

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)
  • Serves Freeport, ME

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

“The Faux Bouquets were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was fast and clear throughout the entire process, making it easy for us to coordinate the floral designs we wanted. The quality of their work was beautiful, perfectly matching the vision we had for our special day. Their gorgeous designs came together flawlessly, and they were incredibly easy to work with to assemble the bouquets exactly as we wanted. We couldn't have been happier with The Faux Bouquets and highly recommend them!!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“If you are looking for a florist in the Rhode Island area, look no further. Ayla did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding florals! Right from the beginning I loved her style and knew she had great instincts and vision. I told her what I was looking for generally, but she brought it to life in ways I never could have imagined. All of our florals were perfect for each space, and she was super helpful in thinking about how to use our budget for maximum impact. So many people commented on how beautiful the florals were and I am so so happy with how it all turned out. She captured our exact vibe we were going for - wild, not too fussy, summer, fun and was such a pleasure to work with. There are a lot of vendors out there and it can be really hard to wade through them all, but hiring Ayla and Shade Studio will truly be a no regrets decision!”
