Hi friend, I'm Katelyn! Thinking back, I really have always loved documenting my life through photos, even if I didn't realize that was what I was doing. It all started with me begging my parents to take me to CVS to grab a Kodak disposable camera, using all the film to take photos of anything I could, getting it developed and creating my own personal photo albums that I still have packed away at my parents home. In 2011, my mom purchased the coolest Nikon D5000 DSLR camera (which I eventually took over, sorry mom!!!) and I never looked back.

I am a husband to my beautiful wife Alana, a soon to be father, and a dog dad to Leia (a border collie/blue heeler mix) and Nakoa (an Alaskan Husky). I started photography in college when a couple of friends asked me to take their senior pictures because 'I had a nice camera'. From that first photo and the first edit I fell in love. Capturing genuine expression is something that I am incredibly passionate about. When I am not holding a camera you can find me behind a desk working as a Project Engineer or out in my workshop woodworking!

We're James and Emma; College sweethearts and partners for life, we've been photographing weddings together since 2013. Hiking and camping is where our souls feel most at home, but when we're city-side we love nothing more than to enjoy a round of beer, burgers, and arcade games. Having our level of chemistry and history together has afforded us the ability to run a wedding day like a finely tuned instrument.
