This property was previously owned by the late Charlie Thomas former owner of the Houston Rockets and was frequented by celebrities and dignitaries, but now it's available for your dream wedding. The dance hall is fashioned after the famous Gruene Hall. Are dance hall is complete with a bar and stage. Attached is a silo with a grill and we are ready to bread your dream menu. We have a Bridal suite where you and your bridesmaids can get ready for your big day also a Grooms Casino suite for the guys. Say "I do" under our Heritage oak tree! The Martindale Schoolhouse is centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is perfect for weddings, special events, weekend getaways, and outdoor excursions. First, there’s the expansive five-room villa that was once the original school. Carefully curated with art from around the world, the schoolhouse sleeps 14 and has been fully modernized with a large kitchen, multiple seating areas, a great lawn and a covered veranda with an outdoor fireplace. Next, there's the Martindale Social Hall. We have a wedding venue located on our 100-acre property in a 150 year old pecan grove overlooking the San Marcos River. You'll have the option to reserve our seven luxury safari tents and cabin for your wedding weekend, allowing you to provide lodging to your guests. You may also reserve additional pop-up tents if you would like to accommodate additional guests.
