While I sought out the call of the wild in the summer; fishing, wildland firefighting, and flying...I returned like a salmon upriver, to the draw of the shop where dahlias, roses, gardenias, and peonies would seduce, comfort, and restore with their graceful beauty and perfumed petals. Those elemental professions of earth, water, fire, and sky which filled me with such excitement and adventure nurtured a love for helping others celebrate new chapters in their life with a love story of floral creations.
