The Watson homestead was established in Hiram, Maine in 1785 and is the oldest house in Oxford County. Located on 28 acres of rolling fields, soaring pine forests, stone walls and 1250 ft of Saco River frontage the house has been lovingly restored with an eye to historical integrity . When Shane and Wayne Bernard (Co-owners of Pica’s Pub and Grill est. 1939) were presented with the opportunity to expand next door into the building formerly occupied by Laschi’s Garden Center they jumped at it. They knew exactly what the area was missing and wanted to create a fun space with quality food, ice cream and a renovated greenhouse to hold private events and weddings to compliment their full service restaurant next door. Featuring several of their fan favorite items from next door, quality Italian Deli Sandwiches and Gifford’s Premium Ice Cream.
