When I was young, my Grandmother, “Mamie Genevieve” would have me help around the house by creating arrangements with flowers from our garden. She believed flowers had the power to transform a space, cultivate an ambiance and encourage us to linger over dinner and enjoy one another. Those summer chores were my earliest interactions with floral design and though seasons change, I still hold onto those garden roots.
