Omalicha Custom Cakes & Confectionery is a unique bakery with a focus on creating bespoke cake creations in design and flavor. We are located in Akron, OH of Summit County. Our goal is to ensure our customers have wonderful cake memories by sourcing for the freshest ingredients and spending many hours creating beautiful art made edible. We create a variety of desserts but our specialties are wedding cakes, dessert tables, celebration cakes, cupcakes, chocolate bon bons, and French desserts like macarons and eclairs. Stemming from a family background of bakers, Omalicha Custom Cakes is excited to offer their love for baking to the public.

Hearth cakes and pastries are based in French technique and method but with a more American take on flavor. It is a mesh of the best two aspects of classic American and French desserts. The cakes tend to have a more whimsical or natural feel to the design.

Gailz Goodiez has catered over 150 weddings with delicious cake pops! With over 30 flavors to choose from, they will certainly please all of your guests. Gluten-free, Vegan, Keto, nut-free and sugar free are all available. Each cake pop comes individually wrapped and tied with either a twisty or a colored ribbon ($1 more per dozen). They are baked and decorated to order and are sold individually (for $3 each) or by the dozen (for $24) Cookies and other goodies are also available. This is a home based business and all products are home produced under the Ohio Cottage Law. I do not make wedding cakes.

Scratch Bakery began in 2016, as my passion for baking grew into a full time “job.” I enjoy working with my clients to create the perfect treats for their occasions. My main focus is taste, taste, taste - using quality ingredients and made all from scratch. If something looks wonderful, but doesn’t taste good, I do not use it. Part of the reason I began baking and decorating was due to unmet expectations. I don’t ever want my clients to feel as though they didn’t receive what they were hoping for.

My name is Amira Fahmy (hence AF 😉) and I’m the baker behind the throwback snacks. I’m a brown girl who was raised in the 90s and I grew up with an endless love for all things Little Debbie and Hostess. A few years ago I set out to build a business around making baked goods that would bring people joy. I bounced around with a few ideas, but once I made my first batch of oatmeal cream pies (OCPs), it instantly became clear…throwback snacks are just kind of my jam. We’ve since expanded our lineup from OCPs to other throwback classics—all scratch-made from quality ingredients plus a little bit of science and a lot of whimsy at our bakery in CLE
