Hello! My name is Samantha Tomblin, owner of Initial Impressions. I’ve been doing photography for about 13 years now. The moment I began photographing, I fell in love with the whole process. My favorite part is capturing love, personalities and emotions in a still image. I’m a people person and love getting to know each of my clients, which I believe helps create a fun relaxing atmosphere at each of my sessions.

So let me introduce myself! My name is Teresa, and I knew after photographing many different types of people for many years that weddings were my jam! Yes, I still say that ;) I knew that my team who has studied film, art, and photography and has two degrees in psychology and are known for their editing skills as well as me (Teresa) having studied with some of the very best in the industry were uniquely qualified to cater to couples who want to feel comfortable and look their best in their wedding photos.

My simple pleasures in life are rare plants, good coffee, and soft music (aka, lots of Bon Iver & Gregory Alan Isakov) More importantly, you guys, my clients.
