Hi everyone! My name is Maia (she/her) Music has been in my life for as long as I can remember. I decided the summer before senior year of high school that I wanted to try out a harp lesson, and ever since that day, I haven’t looked back! In my 13 years of study, I have primarily learned from Elizabeth LeBlanc. I also attended two summers at Rocky Mountain Springs Harp Program, where I studied with Kathryn Harms. I have been very fortunate to have wonderful teachers who got me where I am today! Outside of my musical background , my degree is in Early Childhood Education. I am luck to work in both the childcare and music fields!

In August 2022 the Benson Sisters, Kim and Kristin took the leap and purchased a 1983 vintage two horse trailer, when has been converted to serve as a catering service for a variety of venues, including elegant weddings, corporate events, festivals, tailgating parties and other get-togethers.

You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

I first started makeup back in 2020 when Covid shut the world down. I was laid off from my job for 5 weeks and I was extremely bored, so I downloaded Tiktok. All of the videos on my page were makeup tutorials, so I thought I would try to recreate them. I picked up a brush and posted my work on Facebook, and everyone loved it. I’m currently back in school to get my esthetician license so I will be able to offer facials, massages, and waxing in March!
