As a photographer, you spend the entire day working closely with the videographer, so that dynamic really matters. Aaron is incredibly detail oriented and intentional with what he’s capturing. You can tell he’s not just filming randomly, there’s thought behind every angle, every setup, and how it all comes together in the final product.
What stood out to me was how well he balanced that attention to detail with a go with the flow attitude. Timelines shift, lighting changes, and things don’t always go exactly as planned. We had to make a few adjustments day-of to maximize sunset and golden hour, and he went above and beyond when it came to communicating and problem solving in the moment. Everything felt collaborative and seamless instead of stressful or rushed.
He’s also very aware of the environment around him, which makes a big difference. During key moments like getting ready, ceremony, and reception events, he positioned himself in a way that supported the shot instead of competing for it. We were able to stay out of each other’s frames and still both get exactly what we needed without slowing anything down.
Beyond that, he’s just genuinely professional and easy to work with. Calm presence, clear communication, and someone who contributes to a smooth, positive vendor team dynamic.
