“This was the perfect venue for my husband and I! We got married outside in the apple orchard on 6/6/26 and it was absolutely beautiful. We love the tranquility and nature focus of the venue. Our coordinator, Tara, was super helpful throughout the process and on the wedding day. We hired our own wedding planner which I recommend to make the day and process go even smoother. She and Tara worked great together. We did our cocktail hour in the barn for 1.5 hours since we had a lot of add on stations and the owl and it was amazing. We also had the 10 minutes of alone time where we actually got to eat and drink before entering cocktail hour which was super nice! The barn is absolutely stunning. The reception was amazing as well. We added on an extra hour, so we could end at 11pm which was great. The food was delicious all night, especially the prime rib and all the cocktail hour goodies, like the bacon bar! Our day was so so amazing, and the venue played a big role in that. A few things we would change about the venue: you are required to pick a vegetarian option for plated dinner, which we were a little disappointed about, there isn't much space for the groom to get ready in, and you can't really get everybody ready on site due to the time you're allowed there and the space allotted. Still though, we absolutely loved it and highly recommend.”

“I only have great things to say about Applecross! -Dave was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and focused on making the day unique and special for the couple -He has EXTENSIVE experience in the wedding industry, and every single detail of Applecross was well thought out and serves a purpose -The week of the wedding, Dave made us feel at ease and was available for any and every question we had -The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL! The in and outside gave us various locations for beautiful photos -The inside has an incredible light and music system which made the dance floor tons of fun! -There is a large deck on the front of the ballroom which was great for outdoor photos (it rained before our ceremony) -The bridal suite was available for us to get ready in, had a mini fridge, TV, sink, large mirrors and natural light. My husband used the grooms suite which was also perfectly suited. -Dave helped the rehearsal and wedding day to run super smoothly, and I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of! Overall, we had an excellent experience w/ Dave and Applecross and I highly recommend them for your wedding!”

“The Manor House at Springton Manor Farm was absolutely a wonderful venue that I would recommend to anyone. Not only are the views breathtaking and the manor house is gorgeous, but the tent and ceremony spaces are perfect. You can really make it any way that you want and the venue is so aesthetically pleasing that you really don’t need too much decor to make your day look beautiful. Throughout the whole event, our guests couldn’t stop saying how nice the venue was and how beautiful everything looked. On top of this, we never had a hard time communicating with those who manage the property (Queen of Hearts Catering) and they always ensured that we were happy with the plan and how our day went. We worked with Kelly Tobin and we couldn’t thank her enough for how perfect our day was. There was so much flexibility and you could add features as you pleased to fit your vision. Finally (and arguably what I was most worried about) was the food that QOH provided. We got a Casual and Fun package which did not come with a tasting and it simply didn’t disappoint. The food was a great quality and there was plenty of it. Our guests also loved the cocktail hour and dinner and especially couldn’t stop talking about the mac n cheese bar! Overall, this venue was the real deal. My husband and I feel like we couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate with our friends and family.”

“We knew from the moment we visited Downingtown Country Club that this is where we wanted our special day to be, and it certainly did not disappoint. They truly exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding day! The venue itself is absolutely top-notch. They have a stunning outdoor ceremony area complete with beautiful flowers and a gorgeous waterfall, which made for the perfect backdrop for our vows. Led by Terri Hughes, the entire team works closely with you and is by your side every step of the way. I cannot overstate how incredible my wedding day coordinator, Elise, was. She was right by my side the entire day to keep me calm and help with absolutely anything I needed. I didn't realize just how much that level of support would matter until it was actually my wedding day! I never once felt alone or unsure of where I needed to be because the staff guided me effortlessly from start to finish. Our guests are still raving about all the delicious food. The crab cakes were an absolute hit along with the numerous cocktail appetizers and stations. The chocolate indulgence room was an unforgettable highlight that everyone loved. I cannot say enough good things about Downingtown Country Club. “We held my daughter's wedding at Whitford Country Club 10/14/23 and could not have been happier with the event. Our wedding coordinator Dawn was amazing. Throughout the planning process she was accommodating and flexible with meetings and tastings, working around our schedule as my daughter was living out of town. Her attention to detail was meticulous, incorporating our input at every step along the way. We received many compliments from our guests about the food, which was plentiful and delicious. In addition, we had to switch from the planned outdoor ceremony to indoors on 2 days notice based on a rainy forecast, and the transition was seamless with a beautiful set up for the ceremony, thanks to Dawn and her staff's very hard work being the scenes. The evening was everything we all had hoped for and I would highly recommend this venue.”

“First and foremost I have to recognize the staff who worked the event at the hotel. Katrina, who is the event coordinator, was wonderfully communicative and detail oriented. We wanted to keep things relatively simple for our wedding but she had some great ideas to spruce things up a bit and helped to keep us on track leading up to the day of. The evening prior and on the day she was helping us set things up and made sure to keep our chaotic group on schedule. Not only that she was extremely helpful in managing the group, helping to cue and time our processions and intros into the dining room after the ceremony. She also added a personal touch to the centerpieces by arranging some fresh flowers we'd brought in and I thought the result was lovely. As important as Katrina were all of the wait staff and bartenders for our wedding. Jordan, Dawn and Dinnea took care of dinner service and Doug and Debbie tended the bar. We interacted with Jordan, Doug and Debbie the most but we've spoken to friends and family who agreed that the service was excellent. I want to call out Jordan specifically because that dude was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from drinks to food. On top of all of that he was just one of the most pleasant and kind humans we could have asked for to take care of us that day. We'd also like to extend a big thank you to the whole group as we had some late arrivals who came in during dinner time. The staff immediately noticed and without any fuss went over to get their order and get them served. We had opted for a Delmonico steak and salmon as our primary entrees. Note that because of the volume of guests the Delmonicos were all cooked to somewhere around medium. I can't vouch for everyone's steak but mine came out perfectly medium. As far as I can tell from catching up with friends and family during and after the wedding everyone was pleased and really enjoyed their meals. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere that was created. We ended up choosing the Orchid(?) package, if I recall the name correctly, which is their all inclusive package and I think it was worth every penny. I really enjoyed the up lighting and hotel provided centerpieces but I can see how if you have a different vision in mind then you may want to opt for a different offering. On top of the work they did in the space the hotel has a couple of outdoor seating areas, one of which has a fire pit, that were favorites of the group to take breaks from the party rocking inside. Ultimately the most important part of our wedding day was to unite our friends and family in one place where we could party and then not have to worry about transferring from the reception venue back to the hotel. As far as we're concerned Katrina and her staff delivered on this want magnificently. From the maintenance of the hotel and event space, to the friendly and thoughtful staff, to the convenient location for our friends and family; we could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.”
