"We had our ceremony and reception at The Ardmore Music Hall July 2017 and would choose it all over again! Our guests rave to us still that it was the coolest and best wedding they have ever attended. We are owners of a party band that perform at reception venues all over the tri-state area and we chose AMH because we wanted to marry on stage in a fun, relaxed, and unique environment. The staff could not have been more service-oriented from preplanning meetings up to and including servicing the guests. We have many compliments for the manager Sara for allowing us to decorate as we wanted, making "themed cocktail drinks", coordinating the rest of the very friendly staff and for going above and beyond etc.. We had many bands play throughout the evening and all of the musicians were impressed with the sound crew at AMH, they were absolutely perfectionists with the sound and lighting! Most compliments that we received were that it was such a warm, cool vibe, filled with love throughout the event....exactly what we hoped for. "

Had our petite wedding here in late October 2024 and couldn’t have been happier. We booked a private tour with Tina before booking in October 23 and fell in love with the scenery and location immediately. This is the first and only venue that we toured because we were so in love with it. Tina was so helpful along the way and helped us feel organized and prepared, even when I felt like I didn’t know what I was doing! We were invited to two different open houses after booking to try the food and get ideas and all staff were so extremely friendly and accommodating. The signature cocktails are great and the food is the best wedding food I’ve had. We got TONS of compliments day of about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue was. We loved the petite option, ability to rent decor directly from Brown’s and the ability to leave some of the designing up to Tina, who did a great job and took some stress off our plates. Absolutely beautiful venue, definitely book a tour or go to an open house!

Stunning venue - the display garden is truly a one in a million place to get married. We initially planned to have our cocktail hour outdoors as we wanted to highlight the reflecting pool but unfortunately the weather didn’t permit - we had cocktail hour inside and it was still incredible. The whole team there was impressive and the food was truly delicious. My standards for wedding food are pretty low but it was excellent, and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (and they’d eat it again if they could). The whole team was lovely to work with. So, so glad we got married here!!

  • Space for a large guest list

Venue considerations

  • No in-house lighting and sound packages available

My partner and I fell in love with Pentridge Station almost right away as customers — the friendly staff, the chill/homey vibe, and the welcoming atmosphere all helped us to feel a sense of community and belonging in a city that was new to us. When we finally decided to throw a wedding celebration after 2 years of being married (specifically a cook-out vibe, easy breezy celebration) it was a no brainer to reach out to Pentridge. That being said, it’s a pretty versatile space and can be dressed up or down depending on the kind of wedding you’re going for. We coordinated directly with the owners, Jocelyn and Ephream, who were both very thoughtful, sweet, and gracious throughout the entire process. Their flexible event rental options, list of recommended food vendors, and local DJs really helped to make us feel supported in our planning. Their bartending staff was attentive and wonderful. All of our guests - a mix of family from North Jersey, Maryland, and New York - were so impressed with the venue. For almost all of them it was their first time visiting us in West Philly, and having Pentridge Station be their introduction to the neighborhood and our life in Philadelphia felt incredibly special. We would highly recommend considering Pentridge if you’re looking to celebrate your love in a fun, community-driven space with TONS of heart and personality. You’d be hard pressed to find a better customer service experience anywhere else!

From the very first visit to the venue, we were blown away by the beauty of the property and the exceptional planning team. They made our dream wedding a reality in every sense of the word. Normandy Farms is such a stunning hotel, and the space they provided for our after-party was perfect. We were able to keep the celebration going all night, and it made the day feel even more special. Mr. Renner made the decision to keep the original industrial scale for weighing wool, which you can still see inside our front foyer. Our first batch of Manayunk Brewing Company beer was tapped on October 17, 1996. Since then, we have brewed more than 600 different varieties of beers, and have been selling these sought-after styles all around Philadelphia and New Jersey. Our brewers continue to explore new takes on classic styles, especially when it comes to sour ales and India Pale Ales. You will no doubt see our delivery truck bringing goods to happy customers throughout the Philadelphia region! Mr. Renner’s daughter took over the building in 2004 and runs the restaurant and brewery along with her business partner Mike Rose. Since then, they have expanded the restaurant by installing a stone pizza oven and sushi bar, as well as a chic banquet space for weddings and meetings. MBC exceeded all our expectations for our wedding venue and catering. We are one of the many couples that were impacted by COVID during wedding planning, and MBC and their event coordinator Paris were as professional, warm and accomodating as they could be during a very stressful time for many of their couples. When we had to postpone our orignal wedding date in 2021, Paris was so accomodating in offering us any of the remaning 2021/2022 dates they had available and made the process as simple as naming a date with no issues. Our original deposit was applied to our new date. When MBC suffered from a catastrophic flood in August 2021, they were super communicative about venue expectations and their plans/timeline for the future. Paris offered reccomendations for our vendors whom she has worked with and trusted, although we ultimatley opted for some new vendors :) We had separately hired a wedding planner to assist us throughout the planning process (Andi at Musa Weddings), but even if you do not have a planner, Paris is exceptionally knoweledgable (i.e.expert) at wedding planning and can help you throughout the planning process at MBC. She also offered wonderful reccomendations during our tasting for ways to accomodate dietary restrictions, fan favorites on the menu, how to have a diversified menu, and ways to 'zhuzh' up the space if you needed inspiration. When we first visited MBC we immediately fell in love with the space. It is intimate, but large enough to accomodate up to 200 people, but intimate enough that our final guest list of 80 felt full in the space. It is a simple canvas so you can bring any vision to life in the space. They also have a private upstairs patio space if you want to have your ceremony or cocktail hour oustide. We opted to do all inside (due to weather) and the space being so welcoming. MBC also has a private, separate space for couples and their families which we used as a holding space during the photos (there is an amazing trail right behind the restaurant which is GORGEOUS for photos) and they provided snacks and drinks. We also used this space to sign our Ketubah for some privacy with our family only, and after our ceremony we were able to enjoy a few private moments together to decompress. MBC also brought us our own drinks of choice and a sampling of the cocktail hour snacks so we could enjoy our first minutes of marriage! When we were reseraching a venue and caterer for our wedding, our number one priority was good food. MBC delivers. At our tasting it was hard to pick only a few items - they were all so delicous! The chef introduced himself as well and was very open to any needs or preferences. We receieved (and have continued to receive) endless compliments on the food...so much so that no one was eating the dessert we brought in! They just wanted more mini chicken and waffles :) I cannot reccomend MBC enough. The staff was professional, the service leading up to and on the day of the wedding was phenomenal; I felt in very good hands with Paris and her staff. They were knoweldgeable, calm, collected, and FUN. My groom and I always had a drink in our hand or a snack on our plate thanks to the staff. There are hundreds of amazing reviews on MBC on this site, and they are all true. I only wish I could do it all over again :) and eat another bite of the pork belly or ahi tuna!! Paris & the MBC staff - thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Manor House At Prophecy Creek Park

3.0

Ambler, PA
  • Up to 280 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $15,900

The Manor House sits on an historical 80 acre property in the heart of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, located 25 minutes outside of Center City, Philadelphia. The Manor House is not your cookie-cutter wedding venue. With our unique grounds and a venue that exhibits the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern elegance, we offer the perfect setting to bring your dream wedding to life!

Wow, where do I even begin. Being also in the wedding industry, I knew it was not going to be easy being on the other side as a client. We toured only one other venue before the Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park. When we arrived in the parking lot, I turned to my now husband and said "this is it, this is the venue" before we even walked in. Kerry's presentation blew us away and the next day we signed the contract in January 2019 for April 17th, 2020. It is the perfect balance of elegance for people who envision that outdoor wedding in a manor house but have the rustic accent barn next door. Also the entire landscaping, ponds and my favorite, the white lamp posts are so unique. Comparing prices to other venues, we were VERY happy with what is included in this venue regarding food, the separate bride and groom suite, grounds, parking and more. The tasting was wonderful as well as the final meeting leading up to our April date. I had a specific vision and they really worked with me and listened to what we wanted for our wedding day. Unfortunately as many other couples this year, we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID19. Let me tell you... some of my clients have been jumping through hurdles, paying thousands, in legal battles with their venue with rescheduling etc. That was completely the opposite experience for us with The Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park. They were kind, understanding, gave us quickly the available date and made the process easy. Leading up to our newly rescheduled date, we had many talks with Catherine (who is AMAZING) regarding their COVID19 policies, steps we can encourage social distancing and cleaning. We ended up have 108 guests on 8/30/2020 and the best wedding day we could have despite rescheduling and replanning. Not only the beauty of this venue being outdoor/indoor and the STUNNING grounds, but our guests felt so comfortable with the tent sides being up and able to walk around the grounds. Our guests RAVED about the food at cocktail hour and dinner. The bartenders were efficient and there was never a long wait at the bar. The venue was clean and even in the suites, we truly felt like we owned the house for that day. Myself and my photography team has worked at the Manor House as vendors since our wedding and are continuously happy with the respect we are treated with and the great experience they provide our couples. I could continue on and on. You will not regret choosing this venue and staff for your wedding day. We cannot thank the Fair family and their staff enough for all they have done to make our wedding day/ process easy, beautiful and safe. I look forward to continue working with them professionally as well!

Our wedding spanned five different exhibits/areas of the Penn Museum -- from a procession in the Stoner Courtyard to the ceremony in Pepper Hall, to cocktail hour in the Lower Level Egypt exhibit (where the Sphinx used to be), to dinner in the Chinese Rotunda, and finally dancing in the Upper Level Egypt exhibit. Being surrounded by the galleries in a beautiful venue made for a unique and unforgettable event! Everything went smoothly thanks to the thoughtfulness and attentiveness of Atiya German and Michelle Bach (CxRA). They helped us accomplish our vision for our wedding, and were accommodating to our special needs for food, decor, a few young children in attendance, clothing changes, an unexpected light rain on the wedding day, and even a horse at the procession! Prices were very reasonable, especially when compared to other similar venues in Philly, and we were only ever charged for what we used. I highly recommend Penn Museum and working with Atiya in particular.

The day of our wedding as we drove up to the venue I started to cry bc it was so much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Not only is it perfect scenic view but the crew omg even better, they have your back, they make it look effortless, it’s just the perfect most magical place.
