We are passionate about bringing you amazing service at a home town rate! We grew up here in Saint Croix Falls and love the local area near the park and river. Our venue offers vast gardens for all times of year. There are thousands of gorgeous perennials and annuals to bring excitement to your big day. There are walking paths and cows grazing in the distant rolling hills. The sunflower fields bloom for about a month in the summer. The outdoor ceremony site offers garden all around and separate seating. The indoor reception space has base draping and lighting and includes tables/chairs/linens/ and decor. We have a huge selection of centerpieces and other useful decor included in every rental. Bonus: we also set up and take down whatever you pick from us! Big Rock Creek in Saint Croix Falls, WI, is a stunning estate and wedding venue originally established in the late 1800s as a Trout Hatchery. The barn, standing since 1920, has been elegantly renovated into an 11,000-square-foot event space! This is the place to host your wedding if you want a spot the entire family will enjoy! The history, peacefulness, comfortable lodging, and always on-top-of-it staff will make a weekend you'll never forget. Your guests will rave that they can't believe a place like this exists so close to Minneapolis/St. Paul. We're only 45 minutes from the city! We offer on-site lodging for 30 people in our three cabins and also have camping and glamping available for those that wish to bring a camper or tent or stay in our dome or glamping tents:) A trip to Big Rock Creek is truly a step back in time!

I would highly recommend Big Rock Creek if you are looking for a rustic, barn wedding. The venue itself was beautiful and although it rained the morning of our wedding and we weren’t able to have the ceremony outside, we were able to make the bottom level of the barn worked for our ceremony. The venue’s animals were a hit with the guests during cocktail hour and after the reception. They also ended up having a slip and slide and bounce house that some of my little cousins used. They had a blast and definitely burned some extra energy. They had a list of preferred vendors and I would highly recommend Deutschland’s pasta bar - all of our guests were obsessed with the Italian sausage that they make homemade. We also used Complete Wedding for our DJ and Photo which worked well as they already knew the venue. We would also highly recommend pizza for a late night snack. For us it was 30 per pizza which is hefty but they tasted AMAZING so it was totally worth it. As far as logistics go, we had a 200 person wedding and for every extra 10 people over 200 they would charge an extra 100. So we made sure to stick to 200 people. We needed wedding insurance as well a 1,500 damage deposit. I think 200 was the perfect amount. We declined renting any of the permanent structures as those costed quite a bit but did rent campsites which was so fun! The groomsmen went up the night before to camp and hangout around the bonfires and then the rest of the wedding party and some family members stayed the night of the wedding. The staff was very communicative, and flexible as we waited to the last minute to decide to do an inside vs outside ceremony because of the weather. Barb the day of host was GREAT! Shauna was prompt in all of her communication and was very positive and supportive. The bartenders were also so fun and kept up with the orders all night.

From day one, both Chris and Amanda were easy to communicate with, gave great suggestions to ensure a smooth day, and were willing to help out wherever needed. If you are looking for a venue to host a high-end event or wedding, I would highly recommend working with Airplane Hangar 97!

Oak Glen is a private and public golf course with a gorgeous wedding and event venue, located just 5 minutes from downtown Stillwater. Our packages include your ceremony and reception, on-site catering, tables, chiavari chairs, linens, flatware, charger plates, votives, and all day access to our getting ready suites! Oak Glen has two outdoor and one indoor ceremony locations as well as one beautiful reception space. The Willows ceremony site is located just off the first hole and features willow trees framing our beautiful fountain in the pond. The Prairie ceremony site is located closer to the clubhouse, making it more convenient for your guests to get to. All ceremonies include worry-free setup and tear down with white folding chairs, a hexagon shaped arch- that you can decorate, as well as back-up indoor ceremony site (depending on guest count.)

We were so happy having our wedding at Grand Banquet Hall. It was beautiful and unique, and all of our guests commented on how special the venue was. The venue was great to work with and everything went off without a hitch. It was truly a magical and perfect day. The food was incredible as well! The staff were kind and professional. We loved the stained glass, especially the one with the river. Stillwater was a great location for a wedding. We got lots of great pictures by the river, and went to the local bars after the wedding. I highly recommend this venue!

The Braham Event Center was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. Their communication throughout the planning process was very good - they were responsive to our questions and helped us coordinate all the logistics seamlessly. The venue itself is a huge, spacious space with great lighting that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. They were also incredibly helpful with all the last minute details that come up when planning a wedding. On top of that, the Braham Event Center is a non-profit organization that gives back to the community, and their pricing was very reasonable for the high-quality space they provided. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our marriage.

They were very responsive to all of our emails and made every ask a reality. Their bar staff were incredible, the outdoor landscaping and flowers immaculate, and we felt completely taken care of the entire evening. We received many compliments from guests on our venue selection and we are so glad we chose LMG.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue than Union Depot for our wedding. The venue manager was clear, communicative, and flexible throughout the planning process. She helped us with deadlines, floor plan adjustments, parking validations, access to getting-ready spaces, and being on-site the day of to support with our wedding coordinator. We also appreciated how affordable the venue and getting ready spaces cost for our budget. The venue itself was beautiful, and it was a relief to do a final walkthrough and drop off decorations the day before the event. Quincy Hall was an incredible venue for our wedding! We had around 200 guests for our September wedding and it felt simultaneously spacious and cozy. The QH team was very responsive and helped with planning every step of the way. They were also super accommodating and helped fine ways for us to meet out budget while still getting the experience we were looking for. The venue and surrounding area had a number of spots for stunning, industrial vibe photos and we couldn't be happier with the look and feel for our day. Our food was also outstanding. We knew the food at Crave would be delicious, but we received so many compliments from guests about their meals. They have some of the most reasonable prices on the market and the catering staff were super professional and polished. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Quincy Hall!

The Mendakota Country Club is a beautiful venue and we had the vision for how beautiful the course would be in the early fall for our wedding when we toured in the dead of winter!! Our photos throughout the day in multiple locations throughout the venue are stunning with beautiful greenery and waterfronts. MCC checked every box for what we looked for in a venue, including (but not limited to): the opportunity for an outdoor ceremony and flexibility in having both indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the event including cocktail hour, onsite getting ready spaces, onsite catering with a variety of dinner options and a cohesive, one-level space (helpful and easy for family members with physical mobility issues) Adena was very responsive and by the end of our year and a half engagement, had responded to 200 emails, discussing details and answering questions for our big day! Jessica and Adena in partnership with our Day of Coordinator were able to manage many moving pieces and make our big day come together beautifully, and the waitstaff and barstaff were wonderful to work with. While we had a good experience overall with MCC, there were two day-of notes that did detract from our Big Day: We were told that the staff will “stop golfers” from teeing off at certain holes during the ceremony, however we had numerous golfers walk right behind our officiant during the ceremony and even one golfer approximately 15 feet from us saying our vows yelling to someone in the parking lot. While we understand it is a country club/golf course first and foremost, MCC charges couples a 1,200 onsite ceremony fee that should come with the expectations of no members on the first few holes of the course during the ceremony. During the reception, the temperature was not well maintained and by the time the dance floor was fully opened, all guests were profusely sweating. While there were industrial fans to help keep the room cool, it was not as effective as we would have liked, especially during an unseasonably warm day in mid-September.

The Machine Shop was the only venue my wife and I looked at for our wedding. We have performed as string quartet musicians at a plethora of venues in the Twin Cities and beyond, and this was the first and only venue where as a vendor I looked at it and thought: "I could get married here." The biggest draws were: amazing indoor location, unique space, easy to find parking, close to home, and option for both ceremony and reception to be in the same space. Communication with the venue staff was quick, fast, and easy to understand our options. The select caterers and onsite only liquor selections were excellent and had a wide variety of tastes and options. We went with Brasa and 2 hosted signature cocktails during cocktail hour - the food and drink were such a hit and people could not stop saying how great Brasa was and the cocktails! We had so much fun on our wedding night and everything came together so well. We worked with Lauren from Machine Shop and she was amazing, we got to meet with her for a wine tasting with our families and she answered all of our many questions as well as helped us figure out our drink preferences. So many of our friends and family commented on how this was one of the most fun wedding venues they had been to and we couldn't agree more!

Good venue! We didn't go with any of their preferred vendors, but were able to get approval fairly easily (but just be aware there are extra steps to get approval if you choose your own vendors). It was really nice to have all food and drinks handled by the venue, and very nice to stay in one location all day --from getting ready in the morning to the end of the night. We also received day-of-coordinator services with our package, the value of which cannot be stressed enough. Leah was extremely helpful and professional. There was also another staff member who joined us right at 8 AM to help set up our breakfast and coffee and check in on us every hour or so. Also -- all the waitstaff and bartenders were SO great. They treated our guests incredibly well. My husband and I were never without a drink or water thanks to the bartenders, who would even walk out from behind the bar to bring us something on the dancefloor. We got a lot of feedback from the guests, even a couple of weeks later, that the food was amazing. It was also super classy to have passed appetizers during cocktail hour. We ended up decorating very minimally because the indoor and outdoor space speak for themselves. I'd recommend to anyone who is looking for a full-service venue! Don't pick this place if you want to source your own food/drink or if you are concerned about your guests/wedding party following the rules (like bringing outside food or drink or vaping/smoking). You will get fined! Overall, the experience was very high-end.
