Welcome! I'm Chef Sakinah. I have worked in the food and beverage industry professionally for over a decade and counting. Throughout my career, I've worked in various restaurants across New Jersey, New York City, Florida, North Carolina, and California. With this exposure, I've learned many different styles, cuisines, and techniques of cooking, and from many executive head chefs. Managing and handling all facets of the kitchen, is also my expertise. Graduating from one of the top Culinary Arts Schools in the United States, I earned my A.A.S Degree in Culinary Arts, and Serv Safe/State Food Safety Certificate.

Yaes Eats is a family-driven catering and community outreach business committed to serving great food and giving back. We specialize in high-quality, affordable catering for weddings, events, and celebrations of all sizes. Beyond food, we’re passionate about supporting families in need through fundraisers, toy drives, and community giveaways. Everything we do is rooted in love, service, and making a positive impact—one plate and one family at a time.

We have a passion for local sourcing and creating custom menus to fit your needs, as well as highlighting North Carolina’s fine produce and ingredients. We take great pride in our scratch cooking and local sourcing. We provide 5 star food and service for every event, large or small.
