When I was shopping around, I talked to a lot of really amazing and talented florists, but Dana stood out because of her drive, professionalism, and her understanding of my vision. Of note, I was between DM Events and one other vendor for my florals (he was recommended by my venue) and when I had one of my calls with him, I was quoted almost three times the price that Dana had quoted me. When I mentioned that, this vendor told me that "if I could get it for less, go with the other vendor." He genuinely didn't believe that I could have gotten what I was looking for at a lower price point. My flower delivery the day of was timely, professional, and once again, totally seamless. But most importantly, the way Kristen and her team brought our vision to life on our wedding day left us absolutely speechless (literally had no words when we first saw the reception space). The arrangements that she created were stunning, BEYOND anything that we even envisioned. Her work really pulled the entire event together, and so many guests commented on the incredible tablescapes as well. Also, I love that Blossom Bliss donates all remaining flowers (I believe they go to nursing homes and/or local hospitals if I'm remembering correctly). Knowing that the flowers were going to put a smile on someone else's face, rather than get thrown away after the wedding, brought a lot of joy. Helianthus and Lace is a wedding and event floral design business serving the deeply in love. Helianthus is the Latin term for sunflower and comes from the root Helio and Greek Helios, meaning Sun.
