Reeds & Rushes is a re-imagined, five and a half acre lakeside property in the charming town of Howard Lake. Between the multiple outdoor gathering areas and dock situated on Mallard Pass Lake, and our modern-Scandanavian inspired 7,500 square foot building, you'll have plenty of options when it comes to your all-day wedding or event. Say your "I Do's" outside with a beautiful lakeside back drop or inside in our vaulted ceiling Great Hall. Circulation areas include our Fireside Hall and outdoor patio space with lighted pergolas. Enjoy two getting-ready suites including mini-bars and a golf + sports simulator.

The Capitol Room is located in the newly renovated historic armory of Saint Peter, Minnesota built-in 1913. The main ballroom is resplendent with over twenty chandeliers and hundreds of twinkling Edison bulbs all under a beautiful original wooden barrel-vaulted ceiling. Complimented by a backdrop of exposed brick and plaster. We have amazing suites for both the bride, groom, and bridal party. These suites have been carefully curated with a mix of modern and vintage furniture and the walls are covered with funky art that is flirtatious and nostalgic.

Guests are welcomed by a winding road leading to the venue, where the wedding party can get ready in fully-equipped, private dressing rooms. The ceremony can take place in the lush courtyard, featuring greenery and a serene water fountain. For the reception, choose from two banquet halls, accommodating 50 to 400+ guests. The venue’s event planner ensures every detail is tailored to your needs. The onsite culinary team brings 30 years of experience, and there are bars and lounges for guests to enjoy drinks. Medina Entertainment Center opened its doors in 1956 with the hope to bring music, dancing and food to the west suburbs. We are a family-owned & operated business, which includes Robert's Restaurant & Bar, 12 bowling lanes, a game room, a concert space, three private event spaces and The Medina Inn. As a big part of our community, Medina is well-known for our delicious food and friendly customer service. All three of our private event spaces as well as other areas of the building have all been remodeled in the last 10 years. Our Images room seats up to 130 guests, our Event Rooms seat up to 200 guests, and our Grand Ballroom is a wonderful space for 180 guests or more, seating up to 600 guests. We have a few indoor ceremony options in these spaces for all guest counts and rooms, depending on your style and preference. Medina’s food & service is outstanding, and we are here to ensure your day is memorable and fun!
