About this venue

Granite Springs Lodge, South Dakota’s premier event facility located just 15 minutes east of Mitchell, S.D. off of I-90 and less than 1 hour west of Sioux Falls, S.D. Truly one of the most unique and beautiful areas in Southeastern S.D. This sensational land is adorned with its own spectacular spring-fed rock quarry lake. Come to the shore and look into pristine water and see the many varieties of fish. The terrain, trees and topography of the land surrounding the lodge makes for a perfect and relaxing setting.

Event Center

Say yes overlooking our beautiful lake!

The Granite Springs Event Center can host up to 299 people inside along with a covered patio and deck that overlook the lake. There is a catering kitchen and two outdoor grills for any type of event you would like to host. There are five villas next to the event center. Each villa has a private entrance to the individual room, which include a bathroom and kitchenette. The villas can sleep up to a total of 16 people.

Villas

5 Cozy Villas

In addition to the Event Center, we offer five charming villas located just next door. Each villa features a private outdoor entrance to the individual rooms. Villa #1, our Honeymoon Suite, offers a luxurious king bed, a jacuzzi tub, a bathroom, and a kitchenette area. Villas #2-4 each feature two queen-size beds, a bathroom, and a kitchenette area. Villa #5 offers a cozy queen-size bed, a bathroom, and a kitchenette area.

Main Lodge

Perfect for rehearsal dinner plus lodging

The main lodge has over 8,000 total square feet with the main level offering a large dining/entertainment room with huge windows looking onto the lake. The main suite upper level consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and kitchen. The lower level consists of six bedrooms with a private bathroom in each room. A living room, bar and fireplace are also located in the lower level of the lodge. A deck and patio off the backside of the lodge let you enjoy the breathtaking views.

Cottage

Stay surrounded by natural springs and everlasting woodland

The cottage is a beautiful four-bedroom, four-bath house. The cottage consists of 3,000 square feet and can sleep up to twenty guests. The main level of the cottage opens out to a large deck furnished with a grill, fire pit, and amazing views overlooking the property.
