After booking, Dan was great about answering questions and keeping in touch about song requests, timeline and other important wedding items. They also understand weddings and are willing to take on fun challenges. They took the time to successfully pull off many requests such as: - My requests and timing for the ceremony music which included acoustic renditions of Harvest Moon, With a Little Help from my Friends and Here, There, and Everywhere. They also take care of the sound systems and mic set up for the ceremony. - An amazing live rendition of Touch Me by The Doors for our reception entrance - Another amazing live rendition of Come Sail Away by Styx for our first dance which transitioned into open dance floor for all guests - Helping me pull off a surprise outfit change/re entrance into the party which included allowing me to join the band to sing Just A Girl by No Doubt. “Shukhrat and his wife Rachel just shot our June 8th wedding and we couldn't be happier. They were amazing to work with and the photos are phenomenal! About the pictures: Shukhrat is versatile and very skilled. When we took our engagement photos he provided us with various styles of photos and editing, and then used our feedback to guide the photos he took at our wedding. He is also flexible. We got married in a city park and there were wayyyy more people in the park than we were expecting at 6:00pm at night. Without missing any of the candid details or true-to-life colors that we wanted, Shukhrat was able to frame the photos and/or alter the lighting so that the park goers were barely visible in the background. Both Shukhrat and Rachel are also very skilled at giving direction when needed, but letting you do your own thing the rest of the time. Neither my husband nor I have a lot of experience in front of a camera—they gave us enough direction to feel confident, without making us feel stifled or overly posed. We wanted photos that felt organic and genuine, and they were really able to capture that. Working with Shukhrat and Rachel: The two of them were a dream to work with. Incredibly professional--very communicative, punctual, quick turnaround time on photos. And they are also just lovely people. You spend so much time on your wedding day with your photographers, it's really important to feel comfortable with them, and we certainly did. They brought both a fun, but calming energy, easing our pre-wedding jitters before the ceremony, and leaning into the excitement as the night went on. Although we hardly know them, they felt like friends. We are so glad we booked Shukhrat for our wedding!”

“Writing reviews was the last things I had on my big ol wedding to-do list. I mostly put it off because I truly did not know how to put into words how perfect most of my vendors were. Jessica was no short of perfection. She was incredibly easy to schedule with, chat with about what I wanted, and offered up advice on all things beauty. Her package deal is incredible, her pre wedding face kit is amazing, her touch up kit is still use to this day, and her own facial products are some of my faves. I didn’t have “mini facial” on my wedding morning timeline but omfg I would tell every bride it’s absolutely necessary. During my trial (at her adorable home studio!) we went in a traditional direction and 5 months later I asked her to pivot entirely and go foundation-less. I’d seen it on her Instagram page and was so impressed and oh man did she pull it off. “Atlantic Shake was absolutely unreal - the band itself was incredibly talented and the music was amazing, but even beyond that, the organization, meetings, coordination, and all Atlantic Shake members were so helpful, understanding, attentive, and supportive. Hi, I'm Brooke (she/they) I'm a Massachusetts based wedding & elopement photographer. A client once told me that I captured things in their wedding photos that until then they had only ever felt. I saw this as the ultimate compliment. My goal in every session is to do just that: Turn an intangible feeling into a tangible image that will make your heart soar every time you see it. “When I say that Brooke went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, I truly mean it. When my wife and I decided to get married, one of our biggest concerns as a T4T couple was finding a photographer who was someone that could make us both feel comfortable showing up as our authentic selves. I’ve known Brooke for over 10 years and have always known they were an amazing human being inside and out, so when I discovered that she was diving into wedding photography (this was back in 2019) I knew exactly who to go to. When it comes to our trans identities, unlike many wedding vendors who just treat that like some major issue or something they need to be like “stepping on glass” to deal with, Brooke handled our wedding with nothing but the uttermost respect, dignity, ease and kindness. In addition to being queer friendly, she also is just so amazing at making you feel good behind the camera. My wife and I are extremely awkward picture takers and I was so worried that’s what you would get from our photos. But that was NOT even remotely the case. We adored the outcome of our photos because we just look so naturally happy and in love. The photos still, even now, bring so much joy to my heart when I look at them. They will probably be my forever background photos on my phone so I can always see them for that reason. I will forever be grateful for choosing Brooke to work with, and any photo needs that I have in the future will always be in Brooke’s hands, as now I trust no one else to make us look as good.
