We are located within two blocks of The Hotel Bothwell and across the street from Kay's Bridal and Tuxedo. The building has been renovated by adding modern touches to the original charm that was created in 1906. Fitted with a built-in bar, this venue offers up a dedicated area where couples can serve the drinks of their choice. During the celebration, in the main room, an 85-inch screen may be used for slideshows or presentations. ​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for almost 40 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have many years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Fast forward to 2021, when we began The Rogge Family Vineyard and Event Space, our hope has been and still is to offer a private party rental space rich in rustic barn charm for the hosting of your joyful and memorable event.

Whether a wedding, party, or hosting a fundraiser, the Lodge at Ironwoods will make your vision come to life. Located inside Leawood's beautiful Ironwoods Park, the Lodge has vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams, metal chandeliers, a full commercial kitchen, and an attached patio overlooking the woods. Our open vendor policy allows for the renter to customize the decor, menu, and entertainment as they see best fit. Beautiful attached patio for outdoor ceremony opportunity seating up to 200. The Lodge accommodates up to 300 for dinner or 500 for cocktail party.

The Hotel Bothwell promises perfect, seamless execution of your event plans and customized options to make your day unique. Whether it is a birthday, business meeting, seminar, wedding ceremony, reception, or any other special event you just need help with, we can help! And if you are having an event that requires folks to come from out of town, we offer group room rates to accommodate your guest’s hotel needs. We are available for set up of the space, as well as tear down and cleanup of the venue once you are finished. We provide tables, chairs, and linens. We also provide items for rent to use while you are utilizing our facility such as chairs covers, punch bowl, wrought iron garden arch, and mirrors for the center of tables. The Ivory Grille Restaurant and Lounge are available for both catering needs and bar needs.
