We are close to Bacchanal, The Joint, The Country Club, Elizabeth's, and The Music Box. It's perfect for family reunions, wedding parties, company off-sites, and other large groups.

The Marigny Opera House, alone in its rustic beauty and authentic New Orleans charm, is a special place that values both preservation and progress. A solar-paneled roof shelters newly restored stained glass windows in this decommissioned 1853 German Catholic Church. The Terminal, located at Lakefront Airport, is a New Orleans Tradition, dating back to the 1930's. At the time of its grand opening it was considered an architectural masterpiece. Built by the same architect that designed the Louisiana State Capitol building, it was the first major airport in the region, and served proudly as a general aviation airport to this day. Inside the terminal building, travelers would find an Art Deco wonderland, featuring murals by artist Xavier Gonzalez, friezes by Enrique R. Alferez and an array of stone wall and floor treatments. Messina’s at the Terminal offers four unique Event Rooms: The Atrium, Walnut Room, Observation Deck, and Huey P Long Room!

Perched on 1,500 acres of picturesque countryside, Stella combines Mother Natures beauty and contemporary sophistication to create the highest level of service and experience. Stella’s vast space, varied venues, and absolute privacy make it an exquisite open canvas for your special day as well as bridal portraits, engagement parties, showers or rehearsal dinners.

This spacious Art Nouveau-meets-Rock'n'Roll church is perfect for your wedding! (2600 sq. ft.) 1st floor space which includes 3 separate entrances, 3 bathrooms, a huge "Interview With A Vampire"-inspired red and black Ballroom (45x19 ft /850 sq ft) with stage (19x9ft), baby grand piano, guitars, mics/PA, DJ booth, all leading into an open service space (665 sq ft) with antique bar, large kitchen/dining area, a cozy bedroom/dressing room/coatroom, connecting to our screened-in Nouveau Patio (300 sq ft) and lovely private backyard (400 sq ft). Upstairs a 2nd Kitchen/Dining Room and 4th bathroom is available for negotiable charge. We can recommend outside catering, table/chair rentals, higher-end sound system rental (we have a very simple PA and seating for about 70 throughout the 1st floor and garden). Though we don't produce events we can also suggest staff, DJ, and performers. Due to the age of the house we can't provide ADA accessibility for entry or bathrooms.

When reserving your special day, we aim to make the process as easy as possible and accommodate your needs at every step in the process. In general, our space can accommodate up to 300 guests, and we have multiple spaces in order to make your day special and unique. We allow you to work with any vendors you choose as long as they are licensed and insured, however we are happy to share our favorites with you.

House of Broel was built as a story and a half family dwelling in 1850 in the Garden District of New Orleans. In 1884 the family decided they needed room for weddings and parties so they had the house lifted, making it a two and a half story mansion that we use today for events as they did back centuries ago. The Victorian style makes for the perfect romantic setting for your wedding, as well as the enjoyment of being on historic Saint Charles Avenue with its access to many five star hotels and the Street Car line.
