Owner Shauna Hinchen-Joyal studied pastry arts at Johnson and Wales University and has worked in the baking industry for over 20 years, making specialty event and wedding cakes as well as her signature pastries. Shauna and her husband and partner Bob have been trained by an expert baristas at Atomic Coffee Roasters and are proud to serve drinks brewed with their beans. All our espresso drinks are made with our gorgeous Italian made La Marzocco machine.

Petrova Chocolates was established in 2020 and since then we have been focusing on creating eye-catching, artisanal chocolate bonbons, truffles, chocolate bars and caramels with unique flavor combinations. Our chocolates are the perfect sweet touch to every event whether as a guest gift, a chocolate dessert table set-up or as a delicious name tag at every guest's seat. For years candy patties were made during the holidays and handed out to friends and family. As word of mouth spread a demand for more patties gave birth to Seacoast Sweets. 3 new flavors were added and by 2015 it was a full-time business. In 2018 Seacoast Sweets moved to Rhode Island from Massachusetts. Since then, Seacoast Sweets has continued to grow online, in destination hotels throughout New England, tourist locations, weddings, and events, at boutique retailers, and as a popular corporate gift.

I am a small, one woman-operated home bakery that specializes in custom buttercream cakes and macarons for birthdays, engagement parties, and small weddings. I began as a cake artist in 2020 and have fallen in love with creating realistic buttercream flowers and piping vintage-style Lambeth cakes.
