I can't say enough good things about The Backyard on Thirteenth! We held our wedding reception there in April 2021, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. From the very beginning, owners Rus and Amy went above and beyond to help us prepare. Planning a wedding is always stressful, but we were doing so during COVID, which added a whole extra layer of complexity. We also lived about 4 hours away and hadn't even seen the space in person before booking. Rus and Amy's communication, flexibility, and genuine care made us feel completely confident in our decision. The venue itself was everything we wanted and more. It had a private, laid-back atmosphere that was exactly the vibe we were going for. It wasn't just a beautiful space; it also offered fantastic beer and wine! Since our wedding, we've returned to The Backyard on Thirteenth for other events, and it truly feels like a home away from home. It's a special place, and we're so grateful to Rus and Amy for making our wedding reception so unforgettable. I highly recommend The Backyard on Thirteenth to anyone looking for a unique and wonderful venue.

Farmhouse
Paso Robles, CA
  • Up to 30 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $5,000

A beloved fixture on downtown Paso's Spring Street since 1947, Farmhouse has been lovingly revitalized for a new generation. When the former owners retired, they specifically chose Nomada Hotel Group to preserve the property's historic charm and its iconic sign. After a two-year renovation, Nomada honored the original footprint while updating the spaces for today’s traveler. The former private residence was transformed into a welcoming lobby and lounge. Gardens were enhanced with firepits, fountains, and lush new plantings. The bungalow-style guestrooms were updated for a modern, luxurious experience. From the red tin roofs and white board-and-batten siding to the ranch-style porches, the design celebrates the Farmhouse name and brings a touch of country charm into the heart of downtown. We hope guests will feel a sense of peace while enjoying the gardens, all just a few blocks from downtown Paso Robles.

  • Offers convenient lodging options
  • Has an intimate feel for a small guest list

River Lodge
Paso Robles, CA
  • Up to 100 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $5,000

If you’ve ever driven the oak-tree-covered stretch of Highway 101 between Templeton and Paso Robles, you might recognize the bright red ‘MOTEL’ sign overlooking the Salinas River. For decades, the motor lodge originally known as ‘The Suburban Lodge’ has sat vacant at 1955 Theatre Drive - a street named for the drive-in theatre that existed there once upon a time. Like its neighbor, River Lodge was eventually slated for demolition too, until now. Nomada Hotel Group (the company behind downtown’s newly restored Farmhouse Motel) has completed a labor-of-love that preserved the iconic property’s original ‘Googie’ architecture while elevating the guest experience with modern amenities and features. Boutique by design, nostalgic by nature. Reality ends here.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Private area for the wedding party
