We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are two picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental.

Step back in time and celebrate your love in the romantic setting of our historic Victorian church, c.1906. You will love the Vintage look! The two 12 foot tall original stained glass windows are gorgeous. Decorated with white silk flower arrangements and antique furnishings, this is a unique and beautiful alternative to an empty hall, banquet room or your Aunt Lucy's backyard. Uniting happy couples since 2011, Celebrations is affordable. Wedding packages range from $300 to $800 for up to 50 guests. And the Officiant is included! With our 36 page 'Ceremony Builder' you can create a personalized ceremony that perfectly expresses your beliefs and love. Receptions are available also. Everyone is welcome. Matterhorn is a highly versatile venue suitable for both large-scale and intimate celebrations. The space is a timeless blend of charm and modern amenities. It’s chic décor and spacious floor plan add to the sophisticated aesthetic and flexible atmosphere, inviting guests to dream big and add their own bit of flair to the occasion. Established in 1977, Matterhorn has become one of Elkhart’s most treasured and long-standing venues. The expansive building features three separate banquet halls, all of which can be combined to accommodate larger gatherings. The East Room is the venue’s smallest space and provides a cozy setting for up to 80 people. The helpful staff can easily join the East, Oak, and West Rooms into a combination that best suits the desired needs and capacity. Linking all three rooms allows for a large dance floor and gives 500 guests ample room to mix and mingle.

Mill Hall was built in 1873 and operated as a grain mill until the early 2000s. Following an extensive renovation, the Hall is now ready for use as an event venue. Fully heated and air conditioned, the building is entirely hardwood, with beautiful light and open design. It is perfect for an eclectic, warm event. The space features two full floors of entertaining space. Downstairs offers 2800 square feet of formal dining area with full bar, featuring four barn doors to the outside porch. The rear of the building is being renovated to provide an dedicated dance and entertainment zone. Upstairs features two lounges, plus two changing areas and cozy prep rooms for the wedding party. Later, as rural schools consolidated, the school was expanded in 1938 into a two room schoolhouse. Built-in 1848, the wedding barn was originally a working farm, used as a hay and milking barn on the Briggs family 500-acre farm. Once the family moved on, however, the property slowly fell into disrepair, including the barn. Luckily, right away Joel had an amazing vision for what could be the ideal spot, he saw the potential like no other for a unique Irish Hills Wedding location and was happy to buy the property in 2017. Since then, many hours and much effort have gone into creating the perfect space for weddings. As one of Michigan’s Premier Wedding Venues, this venue is a great choice!
