Hello! My name is Allie and I’m the sole owner of The Hangry Lady. I have a 2 year A.S Degree towards dietetics and a Culinary Degree from Kirkwood Community College. After graduating I went on to be Chef de Cuisine at Caucho for 2 years, during this time I was named one of the ‘40 women to watch’ by the Iowa Restaurant Association. I then went on to be Executive Chef at Popoli for almost 1 year before closing due to Covid. This is when I decided to take a chance on myself and opened up the business I had always dreamed of. Our mission is to serve colorful, creative and delicious food, with high quality service to our customers.

On the day of, the quality of their work was exceptional - the food was both beautiful and delicious, with lots of variety- we were able to special order unique cheeses and pate.
