Defiance Hall is a 10,000 sf, authentically restored historic building with reaching mountain views built in 1820. We host up to 300 people across two floors. We often use the full venue for weddings up to 120 guests, allowing the event to flowing through the property with arrival cocktail receptions on our outdoor terrace & creekside area or inside in a welcoming space. Dining typically takes place in the main hall, while wedding vows, dancing, and afterparties held upstairs in The Loft. We are fully equipped with essential amenities, including having liquor and commercial kitchen licenses; just bring in a third-party caterer! Our barn is located only 12 miles from Lake George Village offering onsite ceremonies and receptions with picturesque landscaping for photography. The barn is constructed from Hemlock post & beam cut in Northern VT and includes all the amenities you could need at your event.

Edgemont Barns consists of a 4400-square-foot custom-built event barn which, together with the historic Edgemont Inn and on-site lodging, sits on 20 acres of verdant hillside in the scenic Champlain Valley. Lodging that accommodates up to 26 people. The surrounding acreage contains a sweep of peaceful farmland and hardwood forest, etched by an old-fashioned stone fence.
