Every Fall from 2008 to 2020, I have had a video camera in my hand capturing sports. I left the sports world in 2020 to spend more time with my newborn daughter. Because of this, my wife and I decided to start our own videography business, which led to many great opportunities. I enjoy working with couples on their special day to bring them video footage that will have their memories last forever.

I have worked in the video world for 13 years now, and have experience in all aspects of video. My experience includes sports videography, wedding videography, and marketing videography with corporate and small businesses. Nine and a Half Films is a new company, but my experience is far from new.

    Beautiful work, easy to work with!

    Absolutely hire Nine and a Half films to be your wedding videographer! I was left without a videographer two weeks before my wedding and was scrambling. With the short amount of time left to plan, Kaylen and Caleb were still unbelievably organized and easy to work with. They were able to create a full schedule for the day to capture all the details we wanted from start to finish--Everything flowed perfectly! Caleb was very detailed with making sure things were shot in the right lighting and capturing all the wedding details in general. His easy going personality also made me feel calm throughout the day. My highlight video was provided to me within only a month following the wedding, which was super exciting to have so quickly and be able to relive the day. If you're thinking about it, hire them. You won't regret it! :)

Definitely! While we’re based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we’re available for destination weddings worldwide. If your wedding is over 50 miles outside the Baton Rouge area, we’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service.
All footage we film is edited in-house by our incredible editor, Caleb.
All of our wedding packages include at least 1 videographer. If you’re having a larger wedding with 150 or more guests, we recommend booking an additional videographer to ensure we’re able to capture every moment of your special day.
Every package includes a 30-60 second teaser to be delivered within a week of your wedding. Depending on your package, a highlight film will take 4-6 weeks and a full documentary will take 6-8 weeks.
We are limited to licensing restrictions, so we will pick the music. Prior to your big day, you will have the chance to provide to us a variety of your favorite music genres to assist with our choosing.
