Wieters Film Co. creates documentary wedding films for couples who want to experience their day—not perform for it. Based in Abingdon, Maryland, we serve Maryland, southern Pennsylvania, West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle, and northern Delaware. We bring a calm presence and an eye for the real moments: the voices, reactions, and little bits of chaos that make the day yours. From full ceremony films to shareable social reels and longer story films, you choose how you want to remember it. Tell us your date, your venue, and what matters most to you.

Your film should sound like you, not just look good. We build our highlight and story films around real voices, reactions, and the atmosphere of your day. Every collection includes a full multicamera ceremony film and all raw footage, so you keep more than the final edit. Full speeches films come with Social, Signature, Story, and the four-hour Essential option. We work alongside your photographer without turning your wedding into a production set. You stay present; we pay attention.

Hey all! For those who are getting married and need a videographer, I have the man for you, and his name is Matt! Matt is such an amazing videographer! The sneak peak video he sent my husband and I, we couldn’t stop watching it. That’s how amazing of a videographer he is. He is definitely worth the money. His time and effort gave us amazing results and this just for the sneak peak! If this result is that amazing, we can’t wait to see our final video. Seriously, he is the man to work with when in need of a videographer

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Matt!! We recently met a few weeks ago for a wedding at our venue, and he was truly wonderful to have throughout the day. He was professional, respectful, and so easy to work with. His creativity and eye for detail really stood out, and he captured some amazing shots of our golf course that we loved. We always appreciate vendors who are communicative, considerate, and genuinely passionate about their work, and Matt checks all of those boxes. Matt is great to work with, I personally have worked many weddings as a photographer along side of Matt being the videographer. He truly takes pride in what he does and is so easy to work with. He does amazing work, you definitely won’t be disappointed when booking with him!
