Robert Becker is a Pittsburgh native, and lover of all things Pittsburgh! He lives in the Greenfield neighborhood with his wife Jamie, along with their cat Tiger Lily. Robert is a graduate of Pittsburgh Technical College with a degree in graphic design.

Robert has decided it is not only important, but his mission, to find a way to offer a quality product and service at a very competitive price. He has passion for capturing and immortalizing wedding day memories!

Description

Package 1: $400 non-refundable deposit, $1300 due the day of the event. $1700 total. Mini Anniversary Reel (30minutes) Contains Vows, First Dances, Toasts, and Selected Highlights based on the couples selections from provided shot list. A single videographer with two cameras* filming at up to two locations.

Description

Package 2: $800 non-refundable deposit, $2400 due day of the event. $3200 total. Highlight Reel (5-7min) Anniversary Reel (50min minimum) We guarantee the reel to contain the; Full Ceremony, Bridal Party Intro, First Dances, Toasts, with the last segment being one of the following; Anniversary Dance, Shoe Game, Money Dance, etc. A primary and secondary videographer with three cameras and additional supportive equipment*** Filming at up to five locations.

Hi, well, we live in Pittsburgh, any event inside a 75 mile range of the point in downtown Pittsburgh does not have a traveling fee!
If you are over 75 miles from Pittsburgh, this is fine, in our contract we outline our fees to cover longer distances. This allows me and my team to stay at a local hotel/motel/BNB to get closer to your event and be fresh and ready 100% in the morning of your wedding day.
Yes, we at Be Joyful Videography understand the stress of financing all the vendors and encourage to upgrade if you were unable to initially purchase a higher tier package. We have a 60 Day retention period of what we shoot on your special day!
We believe in capturing the best audio possible, and we will work with your DJ, and venue to ensure that is possible. In addition we prefer to use wireless mics on the groom, officiant and bride if the dress permits us to.
We use an assortment, different cameras work better for various shots. Whether it is auto focusing, color science, handheld stability, or more. We use what we feel is the best to tell your story, which is the most important task we take on!
Yes, especially for the reception, we use a key light, hair light and if needed a backdrop light. We also have small camera mounted lights too. This helps maintain proper white balance, skin tones, and a more cinematic feel.
We typically wear all black, and for pants, I personally use low profile black cargo pants. This allows me to make sure I have extra equipment on the fly, and more. We wouldn't want to miss a shot because we have to return to our equipment storage.
Well, it would be fantastic if your fed us, we pledge full day coverage, that's typically 12+ hours. However we bring snacks too cause we just don't know what we'll be offered.
We pride ourselves on early and if possible pre-wedding introductions. Day of, my team will introduce ourselves to all the vendors, to work out the plan of the day, to make sure we all accomplish our jobs. Be Joyful Knows that the photographer needs to direct the party for specifically requested shots, and for us, these shots are typically what we look for too.
We do our best to make sure everyone is safe from harm, we don't typically use electrical outlets or cables to avoid causing trip hazards and problems at all costs. We would be heartbroken if someone was injured on your wedding day, regardless of how!
Parties get wild, so once things speed up, we narrow down our equipment foot print to minimize that risk. Now if someone were to steal or damage our equipment accidentally, that individual, not the couple will be held liable in accordance to state law. Tampering with equipment unbeknownst to us during filming will result in losing a shot, we can't be accountable for that.
We are an inclusive minded team, we are not prejudice for any reason.
We have some weather resistant equipment, however we might not be able to get every shot possible, this does not afford a partial or full refund.
Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up months in advance.
No. We focus on storytelling, and since we do full day coverage of your wedding, it gives us the opportunity to grab more special moments to treasure.
We will send you a private version of your highlight reel to review. Once approval is made, we'll publish it publicly so that your family and friends may enjoy it to. As for your anniversary reel, that will remain private and up to you as a couple to decide if you want that shared too.
All of our wedding packages include at two videographers. If you’re having a larger wedding with 150 or more guests, we recommend requesting us to bring an additional videographer to ensure we’re able to capture every moment of your special day. This of course will be an additional $500 charge.
All footage we film is edited in-house by our incredible team at Be Joyful Videography!
