About this venue

Yosemite South Gate Villa is a 3000 square foot Villa with a 10000 square foot entertaining space with 360 degree unobstructed views and ample room for weddings, receptions and parties of all kinds. It is situated on 10 acres and has a very large gated, secured parking area which has easy access for catering, deliveries and transportation for any size vehicles. With its Yosemite South location 12 miles from the South Gate and right off Southern Yosemite Highway 41 it offers easy access to the park entrance and quiet seclusion. A perfect choice for a reception after a Yosemite wedding or full events at this location. The Villa is close to town for convenience of dining, supermarkets and supplies, and also secluded, backing up to 2000 untouched acres of mountain sunset views. The south side temperatures are very favorable with amazing views. There are 40 mature French Cabernet Sauvignon vines to add to the beautiful ambiance. Come experience this magical space!

    Gorgeous Views! Absolutely Magical .

    Our wedding at Yosemite South Gate Villa was absolutely perfect. James and his team were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and showed up on the day of our wedding to make sure we had everything we needed. The venue itself is spacious with gorgeous views, and it's just a short drive up the hill to the park. We were blown away by the sunset views on our wedding day—they were truly amazing. James and his team went above and beyond what we expected, and we'd definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a Yosemite area wedding.

    Perfect for Our Dream Wedding!

    Yosemite Southgate Villa is nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled in the stunning Sierra landscape, the property offers panoramic views that truly feel like something out of a postcard. Every corner of the villa is thoughtfully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comfort, and the natural surroundings create a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. We hosted a small wedding here with about 45 guests, and it was absolutely perfect. The outdoor space was ideal for the ceremony and reception—surrounded by trees, mountains, and that crisp mountain air. There's a sense of privacy and serenity that's hard to find anywhere else. What made the experience even better was the owner. Incredibly responsive, genuinely kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Whether it was coordinating logistics, recommending local vendors, or just making sure we felt at home, their support was invaluable. If you're planning an intimate wedding or just want a gorgeous place to relax near Yosemite, this villa is the place. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting or a more seamless experience. Highly, highly recommend!

    Spectacular Venue

    Yosemite South Gate Villa is an exceptional wedding venue that I highly recommend. Communication with the owner, James, is always clear and respectful, making the planning process seamless. As someone who has done many receptions in the area, I can say that Yosemite South Gate Villa is the most picturesque venue I’ve had the pleasure of working with. James and Dee are always a pleasure to collaborate with, they go above and beyond to ensure every event is a success. If you’re looking for a stunning setting for your special day, look no further than Yosemite South Gate Villa.
