With unparalleled beauty and flexibility, a wedding at China Peak Mountain Resort is nothing short of magical. Sixty miles north-east of Fresno, our 1500-acre ski resort is transformed every summer for destination weddings or for those looking for a unique experience where you and your closest family and friends can spend a weekend together at your own private mountain oasis. All-inclusive packages are designed to leave nothing behind. All include transportation & shuttles to our remote ceremony locations. Be sure to mystify your guests with the sounds of the crystal blue water at the edge of Huntington Lake at our breathtaking waterfront location, or our creek side ceremony sites. Exchange your vows on the one of our bridges amongst beautiful trees and wildflowers with the mountains as your backdrop. These beautiful locations can accommodate all of your guests, and parties up to 180 attending.

Creekside Grove

Exchange vows from a fairytale setting in our gorgeous grove of native Sierra trees.

This wonderful base area clearing is a perfect secluded and rustic place for sharing your vows. Resting peacefully in the shade of majestic pines along the bank of the creek, this is not only a perfect intimate location, but absolutely magical!

Inn Patio & Restaurant

Have your first dance under string lights and stars on our patio.

Our most versatile site with access to our 48 room Inn. This boasts a large outdoor patio that can seat up to 180 guests at either round or banquet table seating with market lighting along. Connected to our indoor dining room that can seat 75 guests, and JW's Ski Lodge Bar that can seat an additional 35. All conveniently accessible with ramp, multiple bathroom stalls and the main meeting place for our shuttle pick up and drop off.

The Waterfront

Say "I do" beachside at the Huntington Lake Landing with views of China Peak across the water.

Fresh breeze and lapping waves are the features that you and your guests will be drawn to at our new Lakefront ceremony location on the shore of Huntington Lake. Just a 2 mile distance from the ski resort, you will say your “I do's” with the sparkling blue waters of Huntington as your backdrop.

The Mountain

Set the scene as you say "I do" with stunning views of Huntington Lake from China Peak's Chair 6.

Beneath China Peak’s majestic cliff-side mountain, and looking over the gorgeous Huntington Lake, Midway Look-out allows for a breathtaking ceremony and cocktail hour location. Make your way to Midway via Chairlift ride or 4WD transport for an arrival no one will forget!

    Tess and the rest of the China Peak crew did an exceptional job at our wedding. On the day of my wedding, we realized the rental company forgot to deliver the chargers for the table settings. Tess sent one of her employees all the way to Fresno and back to get them and made it all seem like it was no big deal. Also, I tend to be a little camera shy and Tess did a great job of making me feel comfortable and directing us in a way to get great photos!

    Our experience with China Peak Mountain Resort was very disappointing. Their communication via email was slow and unhelpful. The quality of their work and overall value was very poor. They didn't contribute anything positive to our special day. We had a good tasting before the wedding, but the actual food served at the event was horrible and most of our guests didn't eat it. They over promised and under delivered on every aspect. I would not recommend this venue to any future couples.

    China Peak is a remote venue, so there are some complications that come with that, but anyone that is looking for incredible natural beauty at an affordable price should consider getting married there! We were able to have a wedding that everyone loved within our budget. The staff is friendly and while the accommodations are a little more on the rustic side, it is an incredible option for an outdoorsy couple. We got so many compliments on how beautiful it was, the food is excellent for the price, and being able to stay at the venue made it easy for people to hang out late and really enjoy the day. I would recommend it to a friend!
