About this venue

Located in the heart of downtown Washington, NC, the Washington Civic Center is a sophisticated waterfront wedding venue. This spacious facility features 14,000 square feet of event space that can be used for all your wedding weekend activities. Formerly a train depot, the vaulted ceilings and exposed beams combine to make the space feel rustic and elegant. Hardwood floors offer a refined platform for the newlyweds to have a memorable first dance. The dark tones of wood and exposed brick help to create a warm and cozy experience. The Washington Civic Center has plenty of room for over 250 guests. The venue offers a two-day package for weddings which opens up endless opportunities for a personalized celebration. Make sure to ask about our Something Borrowed room that contains greenery, table décor, signage, and plenty of other decorations that our clients can use at no extra charge.

Description

The Wedding Package includes rental of the entire building from 8:00 AM - 11:59 PM for two days (use of the Pamlico Ballroom and kitchen, Belk Bracy Gallery, Leff Meeting room, Back Stage Bridal Suite, and the Mezzanine). It includes the use of 20 round tables, 30 banquet tables, 180 white chairs, and a wood wedding arbor. Break down of tables and chairs and cleaning of the venue is included at no extra cost.

Micro Wedding Package

Description

This package is for you if you’re planning a smaller celebration with close friends and family to celebrate your union. The Micro Wedding Package includes rental of the Pamlico Ballroom, Back Stage Bridal Suite, and Kitchen for 8 hours on your chosen day. Rental includes up to 80 white chairs, a mix of round and banquet tables, and our wood wedding arbor. Breakdown of tables and chairs and cleaning of the venue is included at no extra cost.

Saturday Package

Description

This package is perfect for couples having an off site ceremony that still want to come celebrate with us! This package includes rental of the entire building from 8:00 AM - 11:59PM. It includes use of the Pamlico Ballroom and kitchen, Belk Bracy Gallery, Back Stage Bridal Suite, Leff Meeting room, and the Mezzanine. Also included in your rental are 30 banquet tables, 20 round tables, 250 teal chairs. Breakdown of the tables and chairs and cleaning of the venue are included at no extra cost.

    It was an amazing experience being able to photograph a wedding at this venue! Staff is very professional and efficient, the lighting is great inside and it has so many lovely spots to get good shots outside! It is a great option for couples looking for the perfect wedding venue! I can’t wait to go a shoot there again.
