Amazing Wedding

One of the best decisions my now-husband and I made during the whole wedding process was the choice to host the celebration at the Warwick Allerton. Living in Florida and wanting to hold the wedding in the groom’s hometown, we had a very tight timeline with choosing a venue. By chance, we wandered into the famous hotel with the “Tip Top Tap” sign that we had always wondered about and asked if they did weddings- they did! We were absolutely STUNNED by the beautiful ballrooms, elegant chandeliers, and warm service we received. From the beginning, Mina was super helpful and answered all our questions clearly and promptly. She provided thoughtful suggestions and honest advice to help us plan an amazing wedding in a tight timeline- just four months by the time we contacted her. Wedding planning and tastings went smoothly and were super fun! The team at Warwick also accommodated my busy schedule super well. From the time I was a little girl, I dreamed of a cathedral wedding followed by an elegant reception in a penthouse ballroom in a city, preferably at Christmas. Every aspect of that was delivered on. I cannot put into words how STUNNING the ballroom was an the views- it was simply magical (not like a typical hotel/corporate ballroom), and Mina went above and beyond and made sure we had little Christmas decorations from her own house and a giant tree. She also found string lights and put in little decor touches that we didn’t know we needed, but enhanced the space. Cocktail hour was both cozy and glamorous. The bartending service was AMAZING- all of our guests raved at how kind and efficient the staff was. The bridal suite was gorgeous and comfortable as well. Speaking of guests, the Warwick room blocks are a fantastic deal. My guests loved staying in the heart of downtown. As a bride, I loved hearing how excited they were to see the city and the location on Michigan avenue cannot be topped. One of the highlights of the weekend was having everyone in one place and getting to take them around the city of Chicago- the hotels location facilitates this. Lastly, Mina, Christina, and the whole Warwick team facilitated the event smoothly and professionally. When no one in the wedding party could figure out the complicated bustle, Christina stepped in and made sure my dress looked fabulous the whole night, and I could dance! She did it so quickly that my husband and I were able to enjoy cocktail hour stress free. The whole Warwick team, including the bartenders, waitstaff, cleaners, cooks, and front desk staff are warm, personable, and incredibly professional and good at what they do. My husband and I could not be more grateful for them for making our dreams come true and truly making our wedding one of the best days of our lives. I would recommend the Warwick to any bride who wants an elegant venue that truly speaks for itself, a team of vendors that truly care about your wishes and go above and beyond on your special day, and an absolutely fabulous guest experience.

Our wedding at the Allerton Hotel far and away surpassed our expectations. When my fiancé and I first started touring wedding venues, we had a little bit of sticker shock (we were planning and paying for it all on our own). We knew when looking at venues that we wanted somewhere that was budget conscious, warm and welcoming, and spoke for itself. Tying in the budget again, we wanted a venue that didn’t need to be glitzed or glammed up to look beautiful; we were looking for Minimalistic but Grand. The Allerton checked all of these boxes for us. Upon setting up a tour, we had the honor of meeting the amazing team behind the scenes of throwing the stunning weddings I had seen on Instagram. Kristin Johansson, Michael Wallace, and Felipe Herrera were the faces that immediately made us feel at home, feel understood, and prioritized. These three worked with us endlessly making sure we were organized, informed, and financially in a good place. After Kristin left the Allerton, we had the pleasure of meeting and working with Amaralys Addarich. We were able to get so excited for the big day working with her for our tasting and putting together other organizational details. Even during times of transition and change at the hotel, we never once felt neglected or alone. Communication was always a priority and we are forever grateful for that. For the last 4 months of our wedding planning process, we had the utmost honor to work with and adore Christina Farias and Mina Chu. These two worked seamlessly behind the scenes making sure everything was on track for us and when there was a blunder with my seating chart on the day of, they were there to handle it with grace and ease to the point that I had no idea anything even happened. The Allerton was everything that we could have hoped for and more - not only with how stunning the venue is or how delicious the food was, but we got to get close to a team we now consider to be like family. Christina, Felipe, Michael, and Mina are the absolute rockstar dream team for weddings and making wedding planning as easy as possible. They were there for all of the millions of questions that I posed, there for the best suggestions, and there with the coolest and calmest demeanor on the day of that helped us feel at ease. Looking back on our wedding day, we are just overall blessed that we could host our wedding at the Allerton Tip Top Tap Ballroom and cannot wait to show our kids the place where we had one of the best days of our lives. With this team, you will not only have the best wedding possible, but you will gain friends, peace of mind, and a new place that feels like home. We love you, Allerton Team!!
