About this venue

The Velvet Fox is an iconic, historic venue located on the edge of downtown Appleton. We believe everyone deserves a beautiful, affordable celebration for their special day, so we strive to make the planning process as streamlined as possible with our in-house planner, decor, and more. We offer packages for every size wedding, including elopement celebration packages. Plus, we have no preferred vendors.

Our freshly renovated, historic hall is the ideal setting for every celebration.

Our hall boasts beautiful hardwood floors, incredible acoustics, bistro lighting, and PA equipment—perfect for dancing the night away. Furnished with vintage decor and furniture, the vibe gives "walking into grandma's house". Wildly versatile, the space is ideal for small and micro-weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, showers, and other wedding-related celebrations.

    Gorgeous Venue!

    Working with Velvet Fox Weddings & Events LLC was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their team responded promptly to every question and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the planning process. The venue itself is a stunning blend of historic charm and thoughtful updates that gave our celebration an elegant backdrop without feeling stuffy. What really impressed us was their flexibility—they went above and beyond to accommodate our vision and made sure every detail reflected what mattered most to us.
