The Venue at Miller Chapel is a premier wedding and event venue in Guyton, GA, proudly serving the Savannah area and Effingham County. Originally built in 1888 and beautifully restored in 2024, the chapel blends timeless Southern charm with historic elegance, perfect for unforgettable celebrations. Steps from the chapel, guests enjoy a fully air-conditioned event hall with tables, chairs, and specialty tables included. The groom’s lounge offers a relaxed space with a pool table and TV, while the bride and her party can prepare in a private, elegantly appointed bridal suite. A convenient half-prep kitchen is also available for catering needs. At The Venue at Miller Chapel, historic character meets modern comfort to create a one-of-a-kind setting for weddings, celebrations, and special events.

    The Venue at Miller Chapel is a stunning venue that fits any event need. The chapel is like stepping back in time with its original pine wood flooring and original windows with wavy glass, adding to the details that make it so charming. It’s simple, elegant, and timeless, but allows any event holder to make it their own, without taking away from the beauty of the chapel itself. The wedding lawn is what dreams are made of, with its lush grass and towering live oak tree that demands your attention to its beauty. It is a perfect spot to snap photos or enjoy the shade. The reception hall has everything that one would need for any event—a prep kitchen, separate men and women’s multi-stall restrooms, large round tables with classic white chairs, and separate bride and groom suites to get ready for their special day. The bridal suite is beautiful and elegant, with tranquil cream and white colors and a sofa or chairs to relax in. There is a large vanity area with seating for 3, with a beautiful butchers block countertop that adds to the uniqueness of the room. The grooms room is equal parts relaxing and fun with its masculine wall color and decor—the perfect place for the groom and groomsmen to unwind and forget their wedding jitters. The main room of the reception venue is spacious, with room for up to 150 guests. It is simple, yet classy, with beautiful gold light fixtures, that allows anyone to add their own special touches. Overall, The Venue at Miller Chapel is a hidden gem that has it all for any special event.

    The historic chapel, the majestic oak trees, and the spacious venue space was exactly was we had envisioned for our special day! The separate bridal and groom’s suites were an added bonus to enjoy for the whole day!
