Originally opened in 1922, our establishment combines a rich history with a modern, inviting atmosphere, offering a variety of unique spaces to create your perfect event. Our property offers multiple options to suit your needs. The Main Dining Room provides a warm and sophisticated backdrop for a formal dinner, while the Porch and Veranda offer more casual, scenic dining. For a lively reception, the rustic "O" Bar is a unique oyster bar. The intimate Valley Room is a flexible space perfect for private dinners or meetings, and our outdoor Patio is an ideal choice for a fun social gathering with its bar and games. The Valley Inn provides a variety of settings to ensure your special occasion is memorable.

Our Private Dining Room and Events…

Our Valley Room is situated on the second floor of the establishment and offers a unique private dining experience. Equipped with a full bar, two fireplaces, and a 10-foot projection screen, the Valley Room can accommodate guests for either a seated dinner or a festive cocktail reception. Our Valley Room is perfect for any occasion: bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, cocktail parties, business meetings, an intimate dinner, or private gathering. Not looking for a private space? Our Porch and covered open-aired Veranda are perfect rooms to host smaller semi-private dinners, brunches, lunches, or drinks.

Description

Guests will appreciate the original canvas paintings showcasing Maryland history. An attached outdoor deck is also available at an additional minimum. Minimums vary significantly by day (Sun–Wed vs. Thurs–Sat) and time (before or after 4 PM). This room is perfect for up to 60 seated guests and includes AV projection and a private restroom.

Oyster Room

This cozy, wood-paneled space features a large fireplace and a dedicated private bar staff, making it perfect for sampling locally and nationally-sourced oysters, steamed shrimp, and other seafood delicacies. Minimums vary based on the event's day and time: one rate applies to events before 4 PM (Monday–Sunday), and higher rates apply for the prime 4 PM–7 PM window, with separate pricing for Sunday–Wednesday versus Thursday–Saturday.
