The Pinnacle Club is a beautiful newly renovated banquet facility at Otter Creek Golf Course located in Ankeny, Iowa. With our location just off exit 94 on I-35, we are only 15 minutes North of downtown Des Moines, and only 20 minutes South of Ames. Updated wall paint, flooring, wall covering, furniture and bridal suite were completed in the winter of 2025 with a more neutral color palette. The banquet suite offers exceptional views of the golf course, bridal suite for the bride and bridal party, and a pre-function space for your guests to mingle before the bride and groom arrive. A full catering menu is available with buffet style meals offered, full hors d'oeuvres menu, and kids meal options. A full bar service menu is available with beer, wine, and liquor options. We had such a great experience hosting our wedding at this golf course! The venue has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that made everyone feel comfortable while still being beautiful for a wedding. The scenery around the course made for amazing photos, and everything was well maintained. One of the biggest highlights was the food. Having a full menu instead of a limited banquet selection gave our guests plenty of options, and everyone commented on how good everything was. The bar was another huge plus and kept the celebration going all night. The staff was friendly, organized, and easy to work with from start to finish. They helped make the day run smoothly so we could focus on enjoying every moment. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s beautiful without feeling overly formal, with great food, drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere, we would definitely recommend this place!
