About this venue

The Friesian Empire Events Center was originally founded in 2002 and formerly known as The Friesian Empire and Equine Center. It was described as the largest Equestrian Facility in Franklin County. Horse enthusiasts flew in from around the world for horse Shows, clinics, auctions and Friesian horse inspections. The owner wanted to expand the facility to something that could include more than just horse owners, but people who appreciate the serene setting of a horse farm for their special event. The conversion process has taken over years to complete. The owner was able to keep the essence of the horse farm but with the feel of an elite and unique events center. Our property has nearly 50 very scenic and wooded acres with 2 large ponds. Our venue consists of approximately 42,000 SF of indoor entertainment areas, not to mention the outdoor entertainment areas! We are equipped and permitted to hold events that include up to 1,888 people (total interior occupancy).

No, we are a permit holding venue, so all alcohol needs to be purchased through us. Ask about our package options!
Yes, we have plenty of on-site parking and offer golf cart and carriage escorts for an additional fee.
Our entire indoor facility is accessible. While the entire outdoor property is one level, we have gravel parking lots and roads as well as some uneven pastures and therefore recommend extra care for any handicap guests. Ask our event staff for recommendations on how to best set up outdoor events and logistical plans!
We allow a flexible 9-hour window which typically includes two hours of setup, 6 hours of an event, and one hour of cleanup. PLUS, we allow suite access as early as 10am!
Yes, we require 1-day liability insurance.
