About this venue

The Capri is a historic ballroom located in the heart of Marfa, offering a striking blend of classic architecture and refined West Texas style. At its center is a beautifully designed interior bar that reflects the venue’s chic, understated aesthetic. When reserving the property for your special event, you will have access to the beautifully landscaped grounds, thoughtfully designed with various outdoor patio areas, lush garden spaces, aswell as our striking interior Bar & Ballroom. At approximately 4,200 square feet, The Capri is a versatile venue well-suited for weddings, concerts, private parties, and catered events. The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces allows for flexible layouts tailored to your vision. Seated: up to 300 guests Buffet-style reception: up to 500 guests (TBD) Standing / cocktail-style: up to 500 guests.

The Ballroom

The Ballroom offers a chic backdrop to for your Dinner Reception & Dance Party.

The dancehall features an exposed steel truss ceiling and hand-floated concrete walls, accented by two original adobe walls preserved from the building’s earliest structure. The result is a space that feels both industrial and warm, with deep character and architectural integrity. An upstairs lounge overlooks the dancehall below, providing an ideal setting for a secluded VIP area, wedding party lounge, or private retreat during events.

      Is this place real?

      Couldn’t be happier on the biggest day of our lives without having the proper location and the crew to make it all come together. Marfa is already an oasis in west Texas but coupled with The Capri it’s as if you’re in another world.

      The most Magical Day & Venue

      The Capri was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! From our first interaction, their communication was quick, thorough, and thoughtful -planning was a breeze. The venue itself is chic, beautiful, and truly iconic, creating a dreamy atmosphere for our special day. The in-house drinks package was amazing, and the venue staff were so helpful in ensuring everything ran smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day - our guests were blown away by the stunning setting and service. Everything was absolutely flawless, and we are so grateful to the team at The Capri for helping make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

    We are afraid not - we are fully licensed by TABC, and we offer an incredible in house drinks package!

    Yes, our facility is wheelchair accessible, including restrooms.

    Client is required to have blanket event insurance policy covering $500,000 in property coverage, $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate in general liability, and $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate in liquor liability. A copy of policy is required for our files one week prior to the event. The insurance policies will be in form and content reasonably satisfactory to the Owner and will specially list the Owner as an additional insured. OF NOTE: You will be able to use this policy for up to three (3) days at an unlimited amount of venues around town and can be acquired through Marfa Insurance/Livingston’s Insurance
