    Not the best experience

    We had a challenging experience at The Bluegrass Family Farm that left us wishing we'd asked more questions upfront. The communication with the owner was slow and disorganized, and they kept pushing add-ons we didn't need or want. The venue itself is a mixed bag—the indoor space looks polished, but the outdoor areas felt run down and neglected. During our ceremony and reception, their children were running around unsupervised, which felt unprofessional and distracting. We'd recommend this venue only if you're willing to use their preferred vendors and let the owner handle all the decorating; if you want to customize your day, prepare for an uphill battle. For the price we paid, we didn't feel we got the perks or quality we expected.
